"Proper 5* hotel. Every aspect of comfort for the guests is being thought of! From the minute of driving in to the car park to the check out we were warmly welcomed and served in friendly and helpful way. All staff speak perfect English, polite and helpful. Room/ suit was spotless, very modern and comfortable . The bed extremely good. The pools , especially the outdoor one were magnificent. Very warm , and easy access. The indoor, was too cold water. The only real comment I have, that there are not fresh towels on the pools level. I am disabled and could not get down the stairs to bring them. As well, there was no one to ask for it. The restaurants were are nice. Breakfast is great! We tried the Italian, the bistro and the Ösch Noir ( 2* Michelins ). The food was excellent and the service outstanding in all of them. Would love to come again, and will warmly recommend to stay there. It is only short drive ,1.5 hour from Zurich airport, and lots to see in the back forest."

"For a group trip to the Black Forest, we stayed one day in this hotel in half-board mode. Microscopic reception not suitable for receiving a group trip. Poor lighting in the square in front of the hotel. Spacious room, comfortable mattresses and pillows, clean bathroom. Decent dinner (set menu with a salad as a starter, a soup, a second course with potatoes and a mousse), well-stocked breakfast for those who have it English style, poor for those who prefer an Italian breakfast. Overall decent. Quiet area."

We have chosen a package that includes the complete degustation menu, the hotel accommodation, breakfast and the details of the room. It was a very comprehensive experience, the hotel was charming, modern and very carefully maintained, the dinner was great. The house made dishes were raised by the cook to the next stage and perfectly adapted to my wife's allergies. The breakfast is very extensive and equipped with high quality products, you can choose between cold meals or freshly prepared omelets ... perfect for a short holiday for one or two days and the restaurant is very recommended."
