2nd time staying here. Lovely comfy beds. Very friendly staff. Fab food. Plenty of sun loungers and beds. Checking in/out procedure is very good. Rooftop view of fireworks was great. Entertainment is what you'd expect on holiday! Madeira is very hilly but there were still a lot of people managing to get about even though they had mobility issues. Had a fabulous meal at Restaurant do Forte - 1st class food and hospitality - picked up in 96yr old Austin 12 - fab experience. Will definitely book there again.

Excellent holiday. Hadn’t realised that Madeira had very steep roads. So probably not suitable if your knees are a bit iffy. That said it was a fantastic clean friendly island.

Lovely hotel, bed comfortable, room nice. Hotel was clean and staff were so nice. We only had breakfast and couldn't fault it, buffet with lots of choice. Lunch time snacks were good. Rooftop terrace amazing! I was worried that we had a juliette balcony, but this was not a problem, had a beautiful view over the sea and could stand out on it. The hills are very steep to get to the hotel, we downloaded the Bolt app and got cabs back up to the hotel in the evening, was on average around 3 Euros, well worth it!

Exceptional service , staff beyond helpful and friendly . Food so much choice all fabulous , drinks lots of choices . Nothing to complain about everything and everyone exceptional . Just wished I’d booked a sea view room as views are amazing

All aspects of our stay were great - room, cleanliness, attention to detail, food at both the buffet and the restaurant were plentiful and of great quality, very friendly and helpful staff. A quiet hotel where you will get time for relaxation and a good night's sleep too. Appears to cater for the more mature holiday makers which suited us very well. 10 min walk to bus stops that take you to various destinations but a steep walk back! Would absolutely return here.

My wife an i love this hotel, so much so that we stayed in March and came back 5 weeks later in May! Lovely staff and great facilities plus it has a real chill vibe that only an 'adults only' hotel can give. The buffet style restaurant may not suit everyone, but we ate well and if you prefer a little more refinement, try their Culinarium a la carte restaurant which is lovely. I recommend that you try their tasting menu, which was fantastic. A great base for exploring Madeira.
