Fuzhou Juchunyuan Yushan Hotel

Upon entering, there was a strong, unpleasant odor. I booked this hotel because it's located in a scenic area, and the surroundings are indeed lovely. However, the hotel itself is old and the service is just average. My room's window faced the ugly and dirty roof of the hot spring pools. I chose the most expensive double room, and it definitely wasn't worth the 600+ price. Very disappointed.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right by the Yushan Scenic Area, with Dingguang Temple to the right, where you can see the White Pagoda as soon as you enter. Behind it is Yushan Park, which is an easy walk up. It's also super close to Wushan, and you can even see the Wuta Pagoda. The water was really hot, which I loved. There was even a matchmaking event at the entrance – parents were earnestly looking for partners for their children!

Yushan Hotel is perfectly situated right at the foot of Yushan Mountain. It's a low-rise building with a spacious compound, and with Dingguang Temple right next door, it's incredibly convenient for both worshipping and hiking. There's a lot of room for improvement in their service, and the TV definitely needs an upgrade; it's a bit small.

Facilities: Though a bit old, the facilities are complete, and the room is spacious. Cleanliness: The hygiene is good, but the lighting is a bit dim because there's a rockery behind the window. Environment: The environment is beautiful. It's only a 5-minute walk to Dingguang Temple and Yushan Park, and Sanfang Qixiang is within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. The subway and bus stops are also very close. Service: They were responsive to all my questions, and the service was friendly. They even had a red packet drawing event for the New Year.

This isn't a trendy, 'influencer' hotel; it's a venerable classic. If you're tired of monotonous, minimalist designs, this place offers a warm, 'old money' embrace. I booked Yushan Hotel for the first time purely because of its proximity to Xiehe Hospital. I never expected to be so captivated the moment I opened the window and saw the White Pagoda. The location is its absolute killer feature. Nestled at the southern foot of Yushan Mountain, it truly embodies 'mountain within the garden, garden within the mountain.' Turn left out the door and you're at Wuyi Square; turn right, and you're in the Wushan Historical and Cultural Block. Sanfang Qixiang is just a ten-minute walk away. But the best part is the small path behind the hotel – you can use your room key to access the Yushan scenic area directly. Going up at 6 AM, watching the elderly practicing Tai Chi, listening to the birdsong, and overlooking Fuzhou in the morning light – that illusion of 'being a local' is worth half the room rate alone.

Every time I'm on a business trip, I stay here and enjoy the hot springs, which is very relaxing. The front desk staff are very diligent; the lady who checked me in and Xiao Zhou who checked me out were both very attentive. Thank you, I'll be back next time.

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Its location is superb: it's incredibly close to both the metro and bus stations, conveniently situated near Sanfang Qixiang and major shopping centers, and Wuyi Square is right across the street. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful.

A staff member just scanned their card and walked straight into my room! I was absolutely startled; I've never experienced anything like it. When I asked what she was doing, she claimed she was delivering fruit. I can't comprehend why she would enter without knocking or permission. What was the real reason behind this?

Service: The service was excellent and very thoughtful; they even provided welcome fruit. Facilities: Although the property felt a bit dated, the bed was incredibly comfortable. I woke up feeling completely refreshed the next day. My only minor issue was that my room was on the first floor. Apparently, due to complaints about a musty smell, they had used an air freshener. However, the scent of that air freshener was indescribably bad – genuinely cheap and overpowering. It actually gave me a headache! I strongly recommend they ventilate the rooms more often or, at the very least, switch to a different, more pleasant fragrance. Otherwise, everything else was absolutely perfect! 💯
