Juchunyuan Hotel

An older hotel, and they're famous for originating the 'Buddha Jumps Over the Wall' dish. The room itself was alright, but there was a strange smell coming from the bathroom. The location, though, is absolutely unbeatable! You can walk to Sanfang Qixiang, and the subway entrance is right outside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.

Great location, very convenient for getting around. It's in the heart of the city, and Sanfang Qixiang is right nearby. Perfect for sightseeing and dining. The staff were also very patient and responsible.

I discovered that Juchunyuan is a large group with many branches once I arrived in Fuzhou. As a result, the hotel's facilities, environment, service, and dining are all excellent. What's more, my child arrived later and they thoughtfully arranged for him to stay in the room next door. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right above a Metro Line 1 station. It's also very close to Sanfang Qixiang, so you can easily stroll over after dinner. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and a shopping mall just across the street. It's super convenient in every way! I'll definitely choose Juchunyuan again if I have the chance to visit Fuzhou in the future.

To celebrate the end of my child's junior high school exams, we decided to take a family trip to Fuzhou for the summer holidays. After a long search online, we chose to stay at the Juchunyuan Hotel. Its location is unbeatable, within walking distance to Sanfang Qixiang and the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall. There's also a famous shopping district right next door. As a century-old hotel, the environment is elegant, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The dining is a major highlight; you can savor authentic Fujian cuisine without even leaving the hotel. The breakfast spread is extensive, featuring many Fuzhou specialty snacks. We also tried their dinner buffet. This hotel is incredibly convenient for sightseeing, entertainment, and dining. I highly recommend it for families!

The hotel's location is excellent, right at the exit of Metro Line 1, and just across the street from Sanfang Qixiang. We booked a family room, which was spacious enough and even had a tea table. The breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, including freshly made noodle soup. The staff, Chen Feng and Xiao Qin, even brought us Fuzhou specialty 'guobianhu,' which was delicious! We also received a small gift from the front desk when checking out, which was a lovely surprise. The only minor downside was that the soundproofing for rooms facing the street was a bit lacking.

Only after staying did I realize this is a long-standing hotel. It's very close to Sanfang Qixiang, just a short walk away. The breakfast tasted good. On the first day, there wasn't much variety, but from the second day onwards, it was normal. It probably has something to do with the occupancy rate. Taxis are easy to get.

I arrived at the hotel from Gutian around 6 PM, tired, dusty, and hot from the journey, eager to check in and rest. It was peak dinner time, and the parking lot was full. I was a bit annoyed and almost considered driving off to find another hotel, but the parking attendant told me to pull over, leave my number, and they'd call me as soon as a spot opened up. That positive start set the tone for a smooth experience. Once I parked, I went to the lobby and asked the front desk to see a room. The young man at the front desk was very efficient and took me upstairs. The room was quite small, but since I had already parked and brought the car, I decided to make do and planned to switch hotels the next day. After checking in, I went to check out the restaurant, and that's where the pleasant surprise came: Ju Chun Yuan is the original creator of 'Buddha Jumps Over the Wall' (Fotiaoqiang). I decided I'd definitely try it properly tomorrow. The next day, I decided to extend my stay by another day instead of switching hotels. The reason was its excellent location in a bustling area, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. Although the room was small and the facilities basic, I wasn't planning on a resort-style vacation anyway. Plus, the hotel staff provided excellent, professional service, which was a significant factor in my decision to stay. And, of course, I wanted to have Fotiaoqiang at the restaurant that evening. The Fotiaoqiang at Ju Chun Yuan restaurant was very satisfying, but the service staff wasn't professional enough. When I asked about ingredients, only the manager or supervisor could tell me; the other staff said they had to ask a supervisor. The restaurant manager seemed to lack patience. Summary: 1. Excellent location. 2. Good service from guest rooms, front desk, and parking staff. 3. Guest room hardware is basic and needs renovation. 4. Ju Chun Yuan restaurant is a reputable old brand and highly recommended, but the manager seemed jaded, and the service staff appeared to be interns unfamiliar with their duties.

I was quite apprehensive after reading some negative reviews, but the location was so convenient that I decided to book it anyway. Turns out, you really have to experience it yourself to form your own opinion. I booked a family room, and the front desk assigned us one that seemed to be renovated, complete with smart devices. The windows were double-glazed, so it was genuinely quiet. The lady at the front desk was also very enthusiastic and polite. There's a small table in the room, which was super handy for eating takeout, haha. At check-out, they even gave us water and small cookies as a parting gift. For this price and location, I'm really satisfied.
