NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort

From the moment you get to Male, you are looked after by a representative of the resort who ensures everything is done to make your travel to NH Collection Maldives Resort is enjoyable. Male airport is far better than it used to be, the amenities are good and the view surrounding it are incredible too. It is a must to have your Maldives inwards IMUGA travel declaration done to ensure a speedy exit to start your holiday. Due to our flight arriving late we were looked after splendidly being placed in a private room in the airport lounge until we were due to leave. It is a decent flight and fast boat trip to NH Resort, but it goes quick enough. On arrival at the resort our personal host, Munjid greeted us and following a refreshing towel and drink, he gave us a tour of the amenities and took us to our room. We found all personnel were friendly and helpful. The service throughout the resort is first class. No matter what our question or request our host Munjid and others would ensure we were looked after. As we were celebrating our anniversary when we were there, Munjid arranged a special floral arrangement in our villa and complimentary goods to go with it. Special trea**ent was also given to us at each sitting in the restaurants on that day. Our overwater villa was phenomenal. Luxurious appoin**ents throughout and the Maldives view that you never want to leave. The indoor/outdoor bathroom looking over the water, was appointed beautifully. From relaxing on the lounge on the villa deck, lying in the overwater hammocks or just venturing down the ladder into the crystal-clear water surrounding the resort, it was just incredible. If there is ever a hotel room you may want to just sit in, this is it. The servicing of the room was done at least twice every day. The replenishing of the fresh water and mini bar contents was also done regularly with water and sparkling water available. The island boasts its own desalination plant so unlike other resorts water is plentiful and free. Once you head down the ladder into the water you can snorkel around the island that measures about 650 metres long and 250 metres wide. The surrounding reef has an abundance of marine life including dolphins, turtles, sharks and fish. Many of the marine life swim regularly under your villa. Of course, your snorkel, mask and fins are provided by the sea sports company free of charge. If you want to do more all you need to do is ask for diving, kayaking, sailing, boating etc. There are a number of different food and drinks packages available. We chose the All-inclusive, which meant everything was available to us for no extra cost, all day and night. Dining is predominantly done at Reef Restaurant where you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. The offerings are never the same, and the chefs and wait staff cannot do enough to ensure your needs and wants and met. There is nothing to complain about!! Absolutely perfect hotel, perfect size of the island, the most beautiful house reef I‘ve ever seen, a lot of rays visited our Watervilla and all the cute little reef sharks came in the morning. We’ve seen dolphins swimming around the island, there were turtles everytime we went snorkeling! The ocean is extraordinary, the water is clear and the weather was a bliss. We will visit the island again when we got kids!!! The stuff is very friendly and they will do anything to let you feel good! If you‘re thinking about booking that hotel - DO IT! Jenna was so cute and Shawf is by far the best waiter!! Btw food by Larisa was freakin stunning!!!!

I have never written a review for a hotel before and the Havodda resort compelled me to do so! Just WOW my husband and I have just returned from a week’s holiday and our first trip to the Maldives. The resort was beautiful and complemented by wonderful staff all of whom could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. A particular thanks to Munjid who greeted us on arrival and looked after us so well. The food was nothing short of spectacular with Pradeep ensuring everything was to the highest standard and greeting us so warmly. Aman who looked after us by the stunning pool. Every member of the team were warm, welcoming and could not do enough for us to make our stay the most amazing experience. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for a week. Overall everything is good. We had all inclusive and enjoyed the food in the buffet. It was very tasty. The surf restaurant BBQ was very good. All staff are very kind and helpful. Thank you for Michael and other waiters. From the bar Thiki is very nice making cocktails. And thank you to our host Mara. She was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended as a host. The main thing is house reef of course. It is worthy to come to this far.

It was the best time spent with my wife, the resort is awesome and the staff are very friendly and helpful, specially Munjid he was taking care of us beautifully, he is the best. The dinner buffet is amazing specially the Maldivian night and the beach is clear with a rich Coral reef Snorting is a must

The snorkeling is excellent. The beach is beautiful. The spa is good. The service attitude is very enthusiastic. We are HB. Dinner is a different theme every day. The pizza is also very good. There are English and Chinese options. Jenna is very nice. Perfect!!!

From the moment of arrival at Male airport with welcome and hospitality at the airport VIP lounge to the moment of saying goodbye to the hotel, we saw respect for the guest and efforts to make your stay special. Really appreciated their service and caring. Our room was a large bedroom with a spectacular outside bathroom. And this was a ocean villa ,highly recommend. Thanks to the chefs for making the most amazing sea foods. I couldn’t recommend this resort more highly.

We've just had an amazing two weeks on the most beautiful and idyllic island. Accommodation was spacious, clean and perfect for our two week stay. The bed was huge and exceptionally comfortable. We had our own little piece of beach outside our room which was private and gave us direct access to the sea. The snorkelling was the best I’ve ever experienced and we saw turtles, sting rays, black tip sharks, the most fantastic corals and beautiful colourful fish and so much more. Anastasia was our personal representative. She was friendly and always on hand to deal with any queries we had, however large or small. The staff were so friendly and we were always met with a smile. The food was fantastic and there was an array of different cultural dishes including healthy, vegetarian and foods catering for food allergies. Perdeep, the head chef, was always on hand to assist and was friendly and always had a moment to chat. This also applies to Maneesh, the restaurant manager, always friendly and open for a chat. All the staff were professional, we were always met with a smile, they were smart and always accommodating. I would highly recommend the cooking lesson I had, learning about Maldivian cooking and was given the recipes of the dishes i cooked to bring home. All the snorkelling equipment was complimentary, although we did have to pay for the hire of a camera as the one we took with us broke in transit. There are a number of activities to do each day, beach tennis, coconut leaf crafts, beach cinema and a variety of boat trips all in the most beautiful setting. We even had an evening of cultural dance and drums which was amazing. The island is very small but incredibly beautiful. Beach cleaners were out early morning and during the evening to ensure the island was clean and tidy. If you’re looking for a relaxing and pampering holiday, this is definitely a location I would highly recommend to recharge your batteries. We have no complaints whatsoever.
