DoubleTree by Hilton Galveston Beach

Some of the employees are not good. One of the front lady manager like extremely bad. She lied to me, for the easy question to her colleague about breakfast. Which was stated on the website I supposed to pay 15 or 22 to have breakfast. It looks like the rule was changed they said no. but other guy told me during check-in , I’m going to pay 15 to have breakfast. 

This place was not worth the $400 plus a night . Please beware there are ROACHES and ac in our room stopped working

Great view; friendly staff; very clean. Only complaint would be only 1 very slow elevator for the entire hotel. Also the one night we were tired and were going to eat in the restaurant at the hotel they closed early without notice leaving us to scramble outside the hotel for food with a very tired toddler. Overall we had a very fun vacation.

Very disappointed with our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Galveston Beach. The elevator was broken, the glass in the pool door was broken, there were no pool towels available, and our room only had one towel. The room had a horrible smell, and the rusted lampshades made it feel dirty and poorly maintained. This hotel is in serious need of repairs and better housekeeping. For the price we paid, the condition of the property was unacceptable. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others. Please save your money go elsewhere.

This hotel is not up to the Hilton standards the main elevator has been broken for two years found out after speaking with staff, the glass door to the pool is shattered and unsafe also the door to my room would not shut properly had to slam it ! They should disclose this on the website Prior to booking not just surprise you!

This property was rated as a 4 star, but this was not the case, 2 star at best..not worth $359.00 dollars a night...very disappointed I've stayed at alot of DoubleTree properties, this one looked like a Motel 6 the outer appearance does not match the photos listed on your website

The room has rusted dirty laps with cobwebs and the carpet was well worn. The mattresses were not queen sized as advertised and didn’t fit the bed. There were gaps on each side from the mattresses being too small. After we checked out, they tried to run my card and wouldn’t tell me why. They stopped responding and took more money out 6 days after check out.
