Good hotel for business meetings in a friendly atmosphere and plenty of nature around. Very nice golf course on scene. My room was small but convenient with no surprises, would have liked some bottled water. Breakfast was served on the first floor in a nice dining room. Very friendly staff all around.

We were kept awake until 1.00am by noisy guests on the terrace opposite our room. We complained to reception at 12.00am but they did not deal with it. The hotel has said to me 'we cannot be held responsible for this'. As if they cannot control their hotel! The rooms are small. There was no air conditioning or kettle. The terrace is pleasant but the food was boring international stuff (caesar salad, pasta) at high prices and the service was poor - forgot to take drinks order, to bring water ordered and to bring dressing with the salad.

We had a nice stay here for a week. The staffs at the front desk, the restaurant and housekeeping were all very nice and friendly.
Hotel room is clean and comfortable. Classic and good vibes. Breakfast was so good, lots of choices, the food served in restaurant was also good.

The room was comfortable, but one next to something rather loud like a kitchen or something similar in the evening. It all quieted down around 10 PM.
The bathroom does indeed have a bath/shower combo and I’d say this was the most challenging aspect to the room.
One other unfortunate truth was the location of the one heater in the room. After some searching around, I found an electric heater attached to the wall under the desk. After some futzing with the buttons and knobs, I did get it operational and managed to heat the room before bed.
Breakfast, while buffet style, was a big spread. There were lots of cold and hot options and all was delicious!
The staff were exceptional, and certainly spoke English, German and French very well.

This hotel is perfect for golfers situated next to the Spiegelven golf course. The standard rooms are small and a little tired. The hotel is quiet and in a lovely position. Next door is a Michelin star restaurant. The hotel bar manager is unfriendly and impolite. The breakfast is excellent. Overall the hotel lacks a personal touch - a lot of people passing through - and we are made to feel like numbers not guests.

Hotel Stiemerheide is situated in the beautiful Hoge Kempen National Park. We stayed at Hotel Stiemerheide to celebrate my birthday, so we booked the Gastronomic arrangement Corneille and De Kristalijn. And boy, what a treat that was! The hotel is surrounded by nature and they even have a golf course. Due to COVID-19 sadly the hotel pool was closed, but we were happy to enjoy some private time in the sauna. We simply booked a time slot at the reception when we arrived. Easy. The hotel room was kind of small, but clean and the bed was very good. The bathroom was also clean and equipped with all necessary amenities. Loved the hotel bar, which had a friendly vibe and good drinks on the menu, but it was the breakfast that took the cake: really outstanding! So many options to choose from! Service was really friendly and the staff at reception took great care in answering all our questions. Just a perfect weekend away in beautiful surrounding with excellent food. What's not to like?

Vintage/retro upper class style. Dated? Yes! But good dated, you’ll he hard pressed to find a better deal around here. The hotel/restaurant is good, but the staff is best-in-class! Breakfast consists of everything standard, but fresh! Everything on the brekkie is fresh! Will be back! Great place! Kudos to everyone running this place!
