Dear Trip.com Team,
I am writing to provide feedback and lodge a complaint regarding my recent booking made through your platform.
Firstly, the booking information was misleading. I was under the impression that I was booking directly with a hotel, however upon arrival, I realised this was not the case. There was no proper hotel-style check-in or check-out process. Instead, access was only via the car, which was not clearly communicated at the point of booking.
Secondly, the directions to the check-in point and the room were extremely confusing, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience upon arrival.
More importantly, the room condition was very poor and unacceptable for the price paid. The cleanliness standard was far below expectations. I have attached photos as evidence, which clearly show issues such as dampness, mould, and overall unhygienic conditions. This is not what was represented on the listing.
Due to the above reasons:
• The experience did not match what was advertised
• The accommodation was not worth the price paid
• I would not recommend this property to other users
I booked through Trip.com with the expectation of a reliable and transparent experience. However, the lack of proper check-in/check-out arrangements, misleading information, and poor room condition have resulted in significant disappointment.
I kindly request that Trip.com investigate this matter and provide a clear explanation. I would also like to know what actions will be taken regarding this booking.
