Really nice, and you have everything in the resort.

This hotel is disgusting and dishonest. €40/night added to the room for so called dinner charges when we did not eat at the hotel. A used towel from another room placed in our bathroom as “clean” that stank. A ridiculous policy concerning pool towels that is only fitting for a 2 star budget resort: one must carry soggy, cheap towels around the hotel all day. Staff that are friendly but confused, inefficient and incompetent. This hotel should not be a Marriott. It should not have 5 stars and should not be used by tour operators.

Ambassador Member and informed the team that we were trying the place out and stayed only one night. We are in Sicily 5 or 6 times a year being so close to Malta. Message didn’t get home on the room - no upgrade. Anyway - nothing is guaranteed. Positives - some staff are great - Fiona, manager at Floriana restaurant. Negatives - App use to order or make requests - all over the place, no response, to incomplete requests (plates not cleared, towels and water / not delivered), I could go on. Rooms are well furnished, modern but incredibly small. Staff at the pool bar - just don’t listen. The location on the App - if you convert it to Google Maps and ask for directions - takes you down a dead end - seems a material oversight. Dinner at the Al la Carte restaurant was very good. And service was excellent. 11am checkout on the last day (our only day) - yet maid knocks on the door at 9am to see when we were leaving. Amateur stuff. Pool areas look nice. Easy to get lost. It’s a 70’s build and a real mess. Location overall is stunning and if they took that and just started again they would have something. All this in 24 hours. Enough positives for a 3 but won’t be trying again soon.

This is a new hotel and a great find! I got an upgrade to a suite and if you can afford it would really recommend it. A lot of space, own small Terrasse with view of the Etna! There are a lot of areas to discover within the hotel, a secret bay which was a special find, great food in the restaurant (breakfast and a la carte dinner). The pool is not heated but even in April that was not needed. Team is still figuring out a few kinks but the hotel was opened 2 weeks before my stay so I think that‘s fair! Would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Sicily 🗻☀️

Had an excellent stay at Mangia’s Sicily. All the staff were very warm and welcoming. In particular, Giuseppe looked after us very well during breakfast and dinner and made an amazing cappuccino!

We went the week before the hotel was closing for winter so there were a few restaurants closed and not all facilities available as advertised, so check. However, the room was nice, the bathroom the best room. The grill restaurant was okay but lacking in variety and our first meal was fine but the second was not up to scratch so did not go again. The breakfast range was 5 star. Has three pools and you can go in the sea but was quite choppy when we were there and the access down to the sea needs work, very slippery. The hotel is quite secluded so if you have no car, the walk to Brucoli is a trek and also if you take the train from the airport, the hotel does not provide a pick up service and it is hit and miss if you can get a taxi straight away. I feel the hotel should have some kind of bus/shuttle service. If you want a taxi from the hotel they will call a private one for you. The private boat service advertised was not running so cannot comment on this. They offer tours to Mount Etna and Taormina which was good fun but not cheap, especially as when we got to the volcano because of the winds could only go halfway up and could not use cable cars. I would stay again. Recommend going to Syracuse and Ortiga, there is a tour from the hotel but we took a taxi to the train station and then train which is better value for money. Once there we took a hop on and off bus tour. Ortiga is beautiful.
