We contacted the pub early evening for accommodation for 3 adults and two dogs, they were very helpful and friendly. Room was beautiful, clean newly decorated and carpets, beds were comfy and clean, we had the large family room which had a double and in a separate room there were bunk beds, the bathroom was lovely, clean and quite large. Generous tea and coffee and cookies. We had a lovely night's sleep, and a delicious full English breakfast we'll done.

Having eaten at Prince of Wales often we took friends there today.We waited half an hour before anyone came to take our order and this done only because we reminded them we hadn't been seen.After waiting for another hour our food arrived.No apology given.Very offhand attitude.Our friends were very disappointed especially as we had told them how good it was.We will not be eating there again.

A very atmospheric place. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the Landlord an excellent host. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the bed really comfortable. The food was wonderful and I enjoyed my stay very much indeed. Will definitely be going there again on my next visit to England. AIRBORNE!!

Vistited earlier for lunch with my elderly father. He had ham, egg and chips. I had a bacon, brie and cranberry baguette. We were both really impressed with the food. My baguette was delicious, i just couldn't eat it all. Really good service. Lovely friendly pub. Will visit again soon with my husband and bring the dogs. Its clear the pub is extremely dog friendly.
