I recently booked the Spa as a surprise for my mam’s 50th and I would recommend the experience to others. On arrival we were greeted by the Spa host, Lindsey, who was extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our day. She gave us a tour of the facilities and ensured that our multiple drinks orders were served promptly. The afternoon tea was beautiful, especially the scones. My mam had a lovely day and we will be returning!

Me and a friend booked a spa package which included 2 hours of spa facilities and afternoon tea. When we were arrived, we were shown to our table for afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was lovely with a range of cakes, scones and sandwiches. After the afternoon tea, we were then expecting to go into the spa as per our booking. However, when the time came, no member of staff was available to show us to the spa. After waiting, I told a member of staff that it was now our spa time. She then went to get a spa host. After 5 minutes, we were shown around the spa facilities. Here, it would have been useful to find out how the facilities worked as for people who haven’t been to the spa before, we didn’t know how to turn the bubbles on in the hot tub. The spa facilities are in good condition. However, one of the outdoor hot tubs was lukewarm and not ‘hot’ at all. We ordered our complimentary drink (we received an email earlier in the week to say the sauna wasn’t working so we were entitled to a free drink), however after an hour of this not arriving, I had to ask again for the drink to be delivered. Whilst the facilities were okay, we felt like we were left to find our way (hard when we haven’t been to this venue before!). Staff were not easily accessible when our drink didn’t arrive. Overall, it was a nice venue.

When we booked Wynyard Hall to get married within the grounds and chapel we also booked Dukeswood cottage and Maplewood Cottage for family to stay in the night before. The wedding department were all fantastic with the planning we were blessed to have Suzanne as they have a portfolio of experience to rival a vicar of weddings. She planned everything with us from our fave wan in music to our first dance time everything has to be part of the agenda of the day and they will establish the best plan for what you as a couple would like to have. We are very shy as a couple and the wedding we had was perfect for us as we had all our loved ones in one place. No matter how daunting getting married feels please book with the right company Wynyard Hall and the whole team of staff from the chef waiters cleaners and wedding organisers are so invested in your special day and that is so rare to find nowadays in the very click to order wedding service hotels offer. It all felt very bespoke and our family saw that the whole day just screamed us and what we were about! I can’t thank the team enough and wish future couples the same happiness.

Took my mam for afternoon tea and the whole experience was fantastic. Amazing building and room and the service from Georgia was also brilliant, couldn't do enough for us. Overall a memorable day for my mam as well as my dad and I. Can fully recommend their afternoon tea experience.

Went for Mother's Day afternoon Tea. The setting was beautiful and the library was an amazing setting. The staff were immaculately presented, very friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea was yummy with plenty of choice of sandwiches, savouries and delicious cakes. A wonderful Mother's Day experience and at a very reasonable price.

I returned a couple of hours ago from a delicious afternoon tea at Wynyard Hall. I went with my mother for Mother's Day. I love afternoon tea there. The staff are always so welcoming, friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea is fresh and delicious. There's a lovely selection of sweet and savory. I loved the sausage roll, the red velvet cake and the coffee in particular. My mam loves the pastry used to make the quiches. She told about four people on the way out. The setting of the hall is stunning and just makes the whole experience wonderful. Can't wait for the next one.

Perfect Afternoon Tea, for Mother's Day! Nothing was too much trouble from the team on duty, fabulous service. Best Coffee and Scones were to die for, great selection of both Food & Drinks were available. Very grand place to visit, but very worth it for a special occasion!

Wow wow wow THANK YOU from the bottom of hearts for our 3 three night stay in the Woodlands Cottage to celebrate our 6th year wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved it. It’s such a beautiful cottage and we always have a wonderful time. This was our 4th stay in this Woodlands Cottage. It’s so nice for us to come back and reminisce our special day as we got married at Wynyard Hall in 2018. The cottage is huge and would highly recommend it to anyone. Groups and couples. Bathroom for each bedroom. A massive living room and lovely big kitchen with centre island. The Decor is also so nice to look at and appreciate. Outside is also beautiful with country views, a lovely big table for the summer and Two very comfortable hot tubs. We had a really nice meal in the glass house as well and all staff were so friendly and helpful. Joanna and Leanne on reception in the Hall were very welcoming with a friendly smile and made us feel at home. Thank you to you all at Wynyard Hall

We were married at Wynyard Hall on 17th Feb. From the very first meeting, Suzanne Brompton and her team were friendly, interested and fully in tune with our vision for the day. Nothing was too much to ask and within the wedding synopsis provided, the whole day was laid out and planned to the nth degree. The wedding team always responded to emails in a timley fashion. Any queries we had with roomings etc were efficiently taken care of by the reception team. The day before the wedding the bridesmaids and I stayed in Gardner's Cottage. I was surprised at the size of the accomodation and impressed by the added touches such as a welcome basket of bread, milk, jam etc. The cottage was clean and well kept. On the wedding day itself, we received nothing but top-class service. The events team took care of every last detail to ensure the day of our dreams, showing the utmost professionalism and attentiveness to all of our guests. In our opinion, the wedding package is amazing value for money, particularly given the overall grandeur of the venue. The food served throughout the day was delicious and carefully presented, with allergens and special requests catered for without any quibbles. The only negatives we have are very minimal and did not hinder our stay: - The locks on the doors are old and very temperamental. This includes the lock on the back door of Gardner's Cottage and the lock on the bridal suite door. A couple of other guests also reported issues such as their doors not unlocking/locking. The maintenance team did mention that they were looking to update all of the locks soon and worked to resolve the issues for us. - There were urine stains in the toilet in the bridal suite, however, we had requested early check in and there had been a function the evening before, so the cleaning had clearly been done in less time than the staff were accustomed to. Thank you Wynyard, we will be returning in the future to celebrate future celebrations!
