Highly recommend this hotel ! Comfortable and clean below the home stay is a cafe ! And the bfast is nice too

Really lovely place to stay in a gorgeous area of traditional 1900s Cantonese Guangzhou. Great bars and cafes nearby. Hosts provided me with a western style vegetarian breakfast and a little bit earlier than they normally do which I was very grateful for as I was staying for a work conference in the area.

Staying here was like staying in an minimalist monochrome art space with a window view of nice laneway. They are rooms above a cafe so there is no proper front desk or room service/cleaning. The staff are very helpful but there is only one of them at a time. One thing to know is that there is no elevator.

The temporary office of Ta Kung Pao is also on the street. When Hong Kong fell, Ta Kung Pao was forced to stop publishing. Ma Tingdong moved the printing press in Hong Kong to his home in Guangzhou and continued to publish newspapers. This is the ideal and courage of journalists. I stayed in the nearby homestay, Xila Collection Space·Designer Homestay (Address: No. 11, Huiji West Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou). This homestay is also an overseas Chinese building, which has been renovated and looks brand new. I stayed in the Italian-style room "Encore". One side of the room is full of windows and full of sunlight, which is my favorite. There is also a small balcony when I open the window, and I can see the neighbors passing by. Make a cup of tea, turn on the computer, and continue to write my story about history. Living here, you also live in history. Not only this building, but also the surrounding area is the history of Guangzhou. Walk a little north to reach the ancient Buddhist temples Liurong Temple and Guangxiao Temple. Walk west to the Guangxiao Hall built by Christians a hundred years ago. Go south and there is the oldest mosque in China-Huaisheng Mosque. If you walk further to the Pearl River, you will reach the Sacre Coeur built by the French.

The B&B is very beautiful and stylish. It feels like entering an art gallery when you move in. The minimalist futuristic room I stayed in had high-end color matching and furniture. The location is very convenient, just a few minutes walk to the subway, and there are many places to eat around. Any restaurant you find has authentic Guangzhou flavor. The service is also meticulous, and the whole stay experience is great.

Tired of staying in a hotel, change the environment. The windows of the old house are very old, the aromatherapy in the room is very good, the bed is comfortable, and the staff are very friendly, a good experience👍
