Ji Hotel (Guangzhou Tianhe East Railway Station)

Location wise is perfect if you are to take metro or train. The hotel is just few steps away from Guangzhou east metro station Exit F (staircase). Use Exit G (escalator) which is about 300m if you have big luggage. POPARK MALL is just opposite the hotel and attached to the metro / train station. There is an Aeon supermarket in the mall. You can get cheap food, bread & cakes at 30% discount after 8pm or even 50% diacount after 9pm. The only cons is no shopping street or food street within 500m from the hotel. There is a 点都德shop around 650m from the hotel. Further down the road there is a 深井烧鹅 shop and 鑫记竹升面 which is not bad. Overall cleanliness in the room is acceptable. But floor cleanliness need to be improved. Staff service is above average. Nothing g special to mention. We booked a family room with 2 queen beds, the Room is big and bed is comfy. Amentities like free laundry service is a plus point. We washed our clothes every night😁.

Just 150m directly to the metro station is way too convinient. A huge shopping centre is just above the metro station and within 3 minutes walk from hotel. Laundry service are all commercial washing machine, washing+drying were just 80mins time, delightful and relaxing.

Pro: Direct access from airport on Line 3. Big TV in room. Allowed early check-in. Cons: No refrigerator in room. Staff mentioned that only rooms in level 6 are equipped with fridge. Only 3 lifts to service all guests, so waiting time is a bit long. Shower room door cannot be closed. Foam from shower will overflow from the drainage area in the toilet area ie wetting the toilet area.

Best is location. Worst is traffic noise, follow by waiting time for the lifts. . Cars honk continuously from 9am till 1am. Not for light sleeper, u have been warned. Subway Exit F nearest but long flight of stairs. Exit G half of the time are in maintenance. No direct lift. So good luck to u if u have heavy luggages. Worst if it rain. Older room are huge n newer room are smaller. Aircon takes longer time to cool. It's a smokers hotel. Lots of eateries around. Hotel next door are more upscale except that the bed are hard.

I would definitely come back to stay here, staffs were helpful. you can send your t4ob4o packages here, they help you receive it. the housekeeping staff were great, thou we didn't request any housekeeping during our 5 nights stay, we will bump into them in the morning and will request stuff that we needed. the rooms were spacious but it lacked a table in front of the TV (i saw some rooms had it) tip: exit from exit G instead of exit F as exit F is all stairs, no escalators! breakfast was average, for the price i won't complain but if i come back, i would like to try other guangzhou food. the bathrooms doors are opaque, can see thru, will recommend others.

Extremely convenient location right next to East Railway :) the metro entrance is located right beside the hotel entrance with Line 1 and 3 bringing you straight to the major attractions (Canton Tower, Beijing Road, Shamian Dao, Dongshankou) as well as the airport! Room is spacious and the cleaning lady was really friendly. Huge spread for breakfast with good coffee:) They have really good hotpot next door as well. Only downside is that it can get a little bit noisy for rooms facing the road due to the constant honking of traffic but it quietens down after 12 midnight when the station closes so it was no biggie as I was out during the day. Will stay here again in the future :)

1. Poor facility, the hot water and cold water piping was installed inverted, they didnt mark or mentioned it and we ask for technician ask could not open the hot water and just realise the problem. 2. Outdated hair dryer, the hair dryer could only be used for 5 minutes and it will turn off automatically due to overhead, request a extra hair dryer, same problem used for 5 minutes and automatically turned off due to overheat (As staying there for a few days, ended up with purchasing a new hair dryer myself...) 3. Not user-friendly for foreigners, the wifi need to link to a local phone number (Solved by technician using their own numbers) 4. Soundproof was not good, it located beside the main road to East Railway Station and will keep on heard the car horn sound 5. Location is good if want to use public transport or railway, however not recommended if you prefer e-hailing, ascthe entrance of the hotel located at a congestion area
