There is only one room on each floor. They are very popular and are often full. The hotel's basic guest rooms are divided into garden view and ordinary rooms. The garden view faces its own European palace-style garden, which makes it feel relaxed and unique. The quality of the slippers in the suite is much better than that in the ordinary room. In addition, the guest room has a full set of Kung Fu tea sets, children's bathrobes, electric curtains, adult bathrobes, bathtubs, etc., which are not available in ordinary rooms. Louise, who had always warmly received me in the hotel, has moved to the newly opened Shunde Daliang Smart Hotel. When she learned that I was moving in, she specifically asked Vic, the current operations manager of Panyu Smart Hotel, to help me arrange a good apartment. She was truly touched and grateful. This is the reason why we IHG fans always choose to stay at InterContinental hotels. There is always an emotional line that is difficult to let go and connects each other.
Breakfast is their specialty, much better than other smart choices across the country. I came here the year it first opened, and I still remember the Hainanese chicken and other things. The quality hasn't dropped much this time. All the expected Cantonese morning tea steamed snacks (pork ribs, siomai, beef balls, meat cakes, etc.) are available. How can this one be so good value for money? The coffee beans in the coffee machine have been replaced by 100% Arabica, which comes from Luckin; however, Luckin was not given a gift box of freeze-dried coffee powder when checking in. The noodle stall has not cooperated with ramen, but the beef brisket bamboo noodles are still remarkable. Very few Zhixuan upgrade their restaurants to all-day dining restaurants open to the public. This restaurant is an exception. It is called ”Zhiyue” to the public. The set menu is very cost-effective and has a good reputation.
During this stay, the hotel did not provide welcome fruits, souvenirs, or diamond member welcome packages. Even so, other details were impeccable. The hotel has extremely convenient transportation. From the airport, take Line 3 directly to Exit C of Shiqiao Station. Take a taxi and you can get to Panyu Express at the starting price. Line 3 needs to get off at the East Passenger Transport Station and change to another car, so remember. The hotel's laundry room is completely free. There are simple fitness equipment in the laundry room, which is similar to the ”All Seasons” and ”Manxin” designs. The laundry room is filled with banners, highlighting the hotel's great contribution during the three-year epidemic period.
At present, excluding the neighboring prefecture-level city Foshan, there are 10 InterContinental hotels in Guangzhou, the provincial capital, and this is the only one of the Smart Select brand. In addition, there is only one InterContinental hotel in the entire Panyu District. Panyu's status among the 11 districts in Guangzhou is similar to that of Tongzhou in Beijing. Many immigrants who are new entrepreneurs will choose to buy a house here. No matter how expensive it is, it is much cheaper than in the urban area. After my cousin graduated from the Journalism Department of Wuhan University, he first went to the ”Fa Z Daily” in Beijing, then to the Japanese Kirin Beer in Guangzhou, and then bought two houses in Zhuhai and one house in Panyu. In other words, Panyu has a slow pace of life and good air, making it perfect for retirement.
