Top 5-Star Hotels in Gyeongju

The cleaning is not that good. Dust balls are rolling around on the bed shelf, and they are still there for 3 days from the time you check in until the time you check out. There is a swimming pool, so I do not recommend going there to rest since the kids run around a lot. I wonder who came up with the hotel structure design. If you want to go for a walk on the lake, you have to get off the elevator on the 1st floor and go down the stairs one floor, or go across to the restaurant on the B1 floor (it is blocked, so it is practically impossible), or go around the building on the 1st floor. The structure makes it difficult for the elderly, those using strollers or wheelchairs, or those with impaired legs to even walk on the lake. The fitness center on the B2 floor has a lot of good equipment, but it is only accessible by stairs, so it is difficult for the elderly to go up and down the stairs. To be honest, the fitness center is very good compared to other hotels. They even have a trainer. Of course, you have to pay a fee for the session. If you lose your card key, it is 5,000 won.

The hotel staff are v friendly and helpful. The breakfast options are superb. Hotel is also v spacious and my room view is amazing. It's on 10min walk to gyeongju world. I will definitely come back again if I can.

The Kolon is situated outside of Gyeongju so if you don’t have a car a taxi is necessary. We had a car and drove into town in the evening to eat. It’s a large hotel in need of a bit of tlc now but our room was ok. Breakfast buffet was small but edible; staff helpful.

Top rated as like previous reviews. Near to palace and tomb. Lots of good food around within walking distance and intercity bus terminal is just right beside. Nice view from our room too.

I went to Busan and had some vacation time left, so I suddenly went to Gyeongju. But I won't go to Busan anymore... This place is so so so nice.. I fell in love with Gyeongju and the accommodation. First of all, when I went to the front desk, I was impressed by the free upgrade to the ocean view when I signed up for Best Western membership, and the view was also great. If you apply for breakfast in advance, it's 18,000 won per person. It's just a breakfast buffet. It's delicious. The downside is that the air conditioner blows directly onto the bed.. I think there was a wind visor, but why did it disappear? + There's no internet TV. I stayed at the Commodore Hotel from May 7th to May 9th 2019on a trip to South Korea with a French group of nineteen people from Arts et Vie; being single I paid quite a large supplement to have a single room ,which I don't regret at all; my room was very large, very clean with all the necessary amenities;the bathroom was perfect ;the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful with sending photos on my smartphone to my family in France; i could change French euros to korean wons at a very good rate; yhe breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice:I really enjoyed the different kind of salads with the kiwi sauce! and the seaw****! Ienyoyed the cosy ,a little outdated atmosphere of the lobby and listening to the Philippine guitarist and singer while sipping a glass of chile wine at the cafe in thelobby .The surroundings of the hotel are great :it's so relaxing walking on the illuminated paths around the lake at sunsetlistening to music among Korean families enjoying the evening out; My only regret is that the pool was closed ,but I swam in Busan main beach 2 days later! Unfortunately, I couldn't take a picture. The owner's wife is always really friendly and the room is really nice! I visited this place on a business trip and it was such a good place that I booked it again. I wanted a room with a massage chair because I was driving long distances, but I was disappointed that the room didn't have one. Since it's a hot spring water, I can stay well without my skin turning haha. I made a reservation for 2 nights, but after 1 night, I came to see the schedule and they even cleaned it!! I had a really good rest haha. I have 1000% intention to visit again!

It was located in an appropriate location in downtown Gyeongju, the surrounding scenery was very nice, and there were no inconveniences at all during the stay, so I was very satisfied.

I went there with my nephew and my parents who are in their 60s. It was convenient to visit because it was located in the Bomun complex, and I was assigned a remodeled room and had a pleasant stay for 3 days and 2 nights. The room had been remodeled and was very clean, and there were plenty of towels (assigned to a clean room). I rented Cocomong Kids Play and came back to play. My 4-year-old nephew said he was very satisfied haha. The staff were so friendly that I was grateful for the 3 days and 2 nights stay. I had a good time^^ I plan to visit again next time I come to Gyeongju!
