We booked a Panorama Deluxe room for 3 nights, checking in on Sept. 20th. The property is centrally located along the train station and features a parking directly connected by elevator. The “piece de resistance” of this tall building is clearly its stunning view on the town and surrounding mountains. We were lodged in room 1104 on the 11.th floor which is the top floor featuring rooms, as the 12th accommodates the lounge/restaurant where breakfast is also served. Curiously, the hotel doesn’t have a lobby in a traditional sense: the concierge & cashier counter can be found in a small separate office on the basement and the elevators to the rooms are located in a small hall, across a glass door, which opens directly on Brunecker Street. Access security to the floors being managed by room key-card, you can enter/exit the property and the parking with no contact to any staff at all. Our room was a corner one, rather large, beautifully architected and nicely furnished in a contemporary metropolitan style. From virtually any point of the room (bathroom included) it was possible to spot some additional detail of the stunning panorama. The room was comfortable and quiet (in spite of the near busy train station), breakfast was good and we definitively had a very good time here in Innsbruck.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in a deluxe room with Mountain View’s it was super clean and very spacious. The staff couldn’t do enough for you Jonas at reception was just amazing and so so helpful 👍 We had a few drinks down at the bar and the staff there were always ready to help even though it was a busy weekend with the ski jump competition all the staff were amazing love this hotel. We didn’t have breakfast there but I’m sure it would of been good. The hotel is only like a block or two from the train station so that was another plus and to walk to down town Innsbruck was an easy stroll. Went to the ****** but it wasn’t a winner 😩😩😩 Will definitely stay there again if in Innsbruck 👍

Nice hotel but staff could be a bit more welcoming. At least a smile and use our names. The room was clean and pleasant. Quiet. Good comfortable bed with a great view to the mountains. Had dinner one night which was quite yummy and staff were prompt and friendly. Would have liked to sit outside in the small court yard but is stinks due to the smokers. This is an issue with most hotels we stayed in, no place outside to enjoy for non smokers. Great location with easy 5 min walk to city centre.

Room very basic but generally adequate. Plus points: God location, nice lobby area and staff were friendly. WiFi seemed ok for me. Negatives: far too warm overnight especially with the very heavy duvet which is the only bedding available, had to leave the window open even though it was -9 C outside, this meant it was very noisy. Not enough pillows, 1 very flat pillow makes for an uncomfortable night for people used to more. I kept migrating to the divot in between the two narrow single beds making up the double as the curve in the mattresses was very pronounced. Not the cleanest room. Little sound proofing inside and very noisy from adjacent rooms. Could hear the person above coughing / sneezing / walking around and even zipping their suitcase at 6am!

We originally had our main hotel stay booked in Hintertux. We were paying a lot for the hotel and after considering our long journey from Australia, we figured it may make sense to stay close to the airport at Innsbruck for our first day to get some sleep and continue our journey to Hintertux the next morning. We saved quite a bit of money making this decision and made a great choice! We walked to Penz West from the airport with four suitcases and four back packs. It was five minutes on foot and that was in thick snow! The room was way beyond our expectations for a hotel so close to the airport. It was very spacious, beautifully decorated and included breakfast that was simply magnificent. The hotel also had a wellness area including sauna, steam room, cold plunge shower and a gym. The price was extremely reasonable given all it had to offer us. The staff were very helpful and gave us some local tips about the town of Innsbruck (beautiful Christmas markets) and some mountain trips. We were too tired to do the mountain trips but enjoyed Innsbruck. We could easily have spent more time in this beautiful place and would not hesitate to book Penz West again if we are travelling this route. Mr 11 and 12 year old loved this place!

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay! The view of the mountains from our quad room was gorgeous- and we appreciated that the beds were spread between two rooms to allow some privacy. The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the sauna and infrared sauna on the top floor. Breakfast was great - probably our favorite hotel breakfast on this 4 week trip. Lots of great options and I particularly remember the delicious jams. Very centrally located - highly recommended!

Unexpectedly good. I am used to the monotonous light gold or gray decoration of chain hotels, and the decoration is simple. When I first entered this hotel, I was not used to the pink and blue everywhere. I was worried that the pleasing design would reduce the service quality. As a result, it turned out to be the most comfortable hotel in the 12-day business trip. The room was very clean, cleaned and changed towels every day. Water and capsule coffee were replenished every day. Shower gel, shampoo and body lotion were not bad, with natural plant fragrance. I booked it on the second day of my stay, and they also helped to coordinate the room without changing it, and gave me a city card that can be used for public transportation. The location is not far from the main railway station, the old city commercial street, and the inn river area in the north. It is very convenient. Sit in the small garden for a while, order food and drink, and the service is very thoughtful. I went through a lot of trouble for my own travel, and this trouble is worth it. I also want to praise Ctrip. This time I found that Ctrip’s overseas business is so extensive, and the time efficiency of hotels, air tickets, and trains is quite high. It’s just that renting a car is too expensive.

If you are looking for a great hotel offering excellent value for money right in the heart of Innsbruck look no further. The location is perfect with the hotel being right on the main square of the town and all major sites no more than a 15 minute leisurely walk away. It is a new hotel and the decor and furnishings are of high quality. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient and speak a wide variety of languages. They will go out of their way to assist with any requests. The breakfast is fantastic, particularly with wide variety of fresh fruits and yoghurts. It is great value for money.

GGuest UserI can’t praise these apartments enough. If you are looking for something between a hotel with facilities that you pay for but never use and fully self catering, then this is an ideal option. We were sent an email with clear and detailed information a few days before arriving. Our apartment was clean, compact and offered everything we needed. There was a jug of water in the room that we could top up and keep cool in the fridge. Our room was cleaned daily and coffee cups for the machine and milk cups were replenished daily. Even though we didn’t put our towels on the floor indicating that we wanted them changed, we found clean towels in the bathroom every day. This could have been due to the very high temperatures the first few days we were there. The room remained warm once the outside temperature had dropped and we returned that evening to find a humidifier in the apartment. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
ZZibaiheSHotel location is quite good, the room is still decent, the single room is not without any view, but also quiet. The air conditioner is German and I don't know how to operate it. The room is not warm in winter, and the air conditioner does not know how to operate heating. The bathroom is quite big, but fortunately there is a warm clothes in the bathroom. The beds are soft, as is Austria.
GGuest UserEvitate!! 4stelle cadenti! Esperienza pessima. Personale incompetente, falso e opportunista. Ho dovuto accenderlo da me!
Jjobs_67The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! Other hotel guests across the hall were opening their doors to find out what the loud racket and noises and disturbance was. This whole problem took the poor m

GGuest UserThe hotel has an excellent location in Innsbruck. Everything can be easily reached on foot or by public transport. The staff at reception is super friendly, attentive and helpful.
However, the breakfast area and the service staff there are critical.
On Sunday an hour before the end of the breakfast buffet, yawning emptiness was the order of the day. Not only was the service staff missing, there was also a lack of food. There was no more bread, no toast, only 3 rolls, there were no Danish pastries or croissants. There were no vegetables such as cucumbers, peppers, etc. There was only jam and honey and packaged Nutella. The rest of the jam was empty. Egg dishes and Co were available, but cold.
On top of that, the service staff from breakfast was rude and unfriendly. The young ladies were audibly arguing in the open kitchen area and complaining about the guests. Guests' requests for bread, cheese, etc. were only dismissed with ”we don't have it, it's over”. The inappropriately awkward tone of voice and inability to accept negative customer feedback made the atmosphere very uncomfortable.
All in all, the breakfast for a 4* hotel, with quite stately room prices, can only be rated as unsatisfactory.
The shower in the room also had to be complained about, since the shower head was heavily calcified and almost no water came out. The exchange by the caretaker worked well. Only the hose was too short to be able to use the wall bracket. So you had to shower by hand in the sloping roof.
Hotel room #503 was beautiful and reasonably spacious for a deluxe room. With a small balcony (very nice) at the back and with a wonderful view of the Nordkette.
JJINGLocation: The hotel is located in the old town of Innsbruck, a 15-minute walk from the railway station and a 5-minute walk from the Golden Roof, which is very convenient.
Facilities: The hotel is very mini, the store is small, the elevator is small, the room is small, but it is clean, the room does not have a hot pot, you need to ask the front desk, breakfast is ok, bread, ham, fruit, drinks and salmon.
The hotel is situated in a residential area on the outskirts of Innsbruck, but a bus stop just outside the hotel and a 15 minutes ride into town makes this a convenient hotel for tourists. The room and sanitary facilities were OK, but we missed not having a fridge or a coffee maker/kettle in the room. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, but not very exciting. Dinner, however, was very good: I tried the local black sausage as main course (at the proprietor's recommendation), and his suggestion of a local red wine was on the spot! Nevertheless, I must conclude that the room price was higher than any of the other hotels we stayed at in Austria, and we did not feel we were getting the proper value for our money.

GGuest UserI stayed at Hotel Binders for six nights. It is very centrally located and can be easily reached by tram. Very friendly and helpful staff at check-in. My single room on the second floor was very nice and modern. A very spacious bathroom rounded everything off. The breakfast buffet was great. From freshly squeezed orange juice, great coffee, Austrian bread specialties, good selection of cheese and sausage, as well as the possibility of an English. Breakfast were given. Fresh fruit salad and a variety of yoghurts and muesli complemented the selection - it was the perfect start to the day. I will definitely recommend Binders :-)
The hotel is on a hill on the other side of the Inn, in an alternative quarter of Innsbruck - a pleasant surprise. Trendy bars & curious workshops/ craft shops are all nearby. Our room was warm - almost overheated, and apart from the fan which rumbled once you switched the bathoom light on, and the dearth of sockets to charge a phone, everything was decent, including breakfast. If you request ”mountain view” as we did - we found you need to twist your neck to see beyond the house opposite, but it's there. However I'd like to warn potential guests that the hotel doesn't necessarily reply to emails, or pick up the mobile phones on their website. It made us worried, as our plane had been diverted, and it was getting late. As I made the reservation months earlier, I tried to check someone would still be there late evening. I couldn't get through. On arrival, there was noone at the reception, and once the receptionist arrived, he chided my husband for using the bell provided. We were told that our email wasn't received, no explanation was given re mobile calls. The landline may work - I am not sure. Also, it is worth knowing that the hotel entrance is on a sloped side street. We were lucky that there was no ice on the day we had to wheel our cases to the nearest bus stop higher up the hill.
