Hilton Haikou Meilan

I booked this hotel last minute during my trip to Haikou, and overall, the experience was great. Special shout-out to Justin, the Guest Service Manager – he was incredibly reliable, professional, and attentive. Communication was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were also very friendly. The room was spacious with an ocean view, and the hotel's beachfront location was really convenient.

Just checked out of the Hilton Haikou Greentown, and I was really impressed with the service. Manager Justin is very professional, has an excellent service and communication attitude, works efficiently, and resolves issues decisively. The front desk staff were equally welcoming. The room was spacious with an ocean view, and the hotel is conveniently located very close to the beach. Five stars!

The hotel is by the sea, so the location is great. The room was big and spacious, although a little damp. It would be perfect if every room had a dehumidifier, and if the staff could dehumidify before guests check in, the stay would be even better! Although it was an ocean view room and I could see the sea, the room's position wasn't ideal, and I was too lazy to go to the front desk to change it. There was just an exposed platform downstairs, not a hotel green area, which was a bit of a mood killer. But I was happy to catch the sunrise around 6 AM, that was a pleasant surprise!

The breakfast was fantastic and abundant! I thoroughly enjoyed the coconut and papaya. This is my second stay; last time was for a conference, and this time I brought my kids. They loved the pool so much they didn't want to leave! I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Haikou. Last time, for the conference, my basic room was upgraded to a direct ocean view. This time, I specifically booked an ocean view room, but it was a slanted view of the sea, facing a large construction site which was a real eyesore. That's probably the only downside of this stay.

I've stayed at three hotels in Haikou: this one, the Marriott, and the Sheraton. I was quite satisfied with the staff service and room cleanliness at the Hilton. My only dissatisfaction was with the garden's cleanliness. Compared to the other two hotels, the garden here was significantly worse – I found it to be quite dirty. If the garden's cleanliness could be improved, I believe the hotel's overall quality would increase significantly. Another issue was the lack of fixed wall-mounted clothes hangers in the room, which made it very inconvenient for hanging clothes. Also, both the Marriott and Sheraton balconies have retractable clothes lines, which yours lacks. If you're staying for three or four days, the absence of a clothesline would be a headache for drying clothes. Although you provide a mobile clothes rack, it's not ideal for families with a lot of laundry. Apart from these two issues, I'd give full marks for the guest room itself. The room facilities were well-maintained and very clean, which is a big plus. If the clothes hanger issue and garden cleanliness could be resolved, I'm sure many people would choose to stay here again.

The hotel's location is great; you can easily take the subway to the airport. It's also clean and well-maintained.

The hotel is by the sea. We stayed in a family connecting room, and our butler Crystal was truly amazing, always accommodating our requests. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was excellent. A really great hotel overall.

I got an upgraded room, and it was fantastic overall. The room was spacious with a great sea view, and the service was excellent. Breakfast had a wide variety, and the hotel is very close to the beach. The management here is top-notch. This has always been my first choice hotel when I come to Haikou.

The family room with three beds was fantastic, perfect for a family traveling with teenagers. The hotel staff were very friendly. However, the Hilton breakfast is indeed quite average. Overall, it was good, and I would book again next time.
