The hotel is right by the sea, but it was cold, so there wasn't much to do there. Overall, the hotel was pretty good and offered great value for money. My only complaint was the delivery service; I waited a long time for my package, and when I asked, they said they were too busy. I went down to get it myself, only to find it still in the locker, completely untouched.

Returned to Sheraton Haikou again! My last stay was great, so I brought my child back this time. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. I suggest adding self-service washing machines. They also provide shuttle buses and discounts to the duty-free shop. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping did an excellent job. Overall, it's great value for money. Joan was fantastic; she added me on WeChat and took care of everything throughout my stay. Her service was excellent, patient, and very thoughtful. I'll definitely be back!

We chose Sheraton Haikou due to the great reviews, especially from helpful staff, close to the beach, and activities for children. Our stay was for 1 week. Disappointments: 1) Absence and failed service of front desk staff 2) No help with luggage (really needed it) 3) Room cleaning could have been better. 4) Communication, there was almost never English staff available. Additionally, no one once checked in on us. Maybe I’m being petty but if guests stay long you’d wanna check if they need anything or just if they’re okay. At checkout, they looked more annoyed and just wanted to get rid of me. I asked about my Marriott membership & the lady was dismissive. 5) Poorly winter holiday program for kids. Different from the advertised program on trip.com. 6) Checkout was delayed because they couldn’t find my booking. Very weird. Eventually they spoke to someone who helped me and found the booking. How is this possible considering that I’ve been there for a week? Great things: 1) location: it’s right on the beach, not far from airport and other places to explore 2. Location: it was very calm and relaxing, which is why we chose Haikou as opposed to Sanya. No heavy crowds, except when going to touristy places can expect some crowd but still manageable 3. Free photoshoot was fun and good way to create memories 4. Hot pool was a good way to make up for being in a pool, we loved it 5. Western restaurant was fine, had some good options. 6. Little play center for kids 7. Large grounds for kids to run around and to enjoy outdoors. 8. Accommodating: we were assigned a room on the 5th floor but on arrival it had a strong mould odour from the moment you exit the elevator. Was so bad when I entered the room, I instantly got a headache. All rooms have no windows, only a balcony door but be aware of bugs and spiders. We immediately got moved to a room on the 4th floor, less odour and no smell in the room. 9) Entertainment: live music at night Would I go again? Yes, especially since I know what to expect. Or try another hotel in the same area. Overall, we were happy to be by the seaside and explore places in Haikou.

The hotel is fantastic! The overall atmosphere is great, with a swimming pool, hot springs, and a kids' play area. Our room was excellent – clean, bright, and even had a bathtub which the kids loved. Breakfast was also very good, with a pleasant ambiance, and the children were all very happy. It's also quite close to the beach; you just go downstairs and walk through the hotel garden to get there. Joan added us on WeChat in advance and prepared children's slippers and toiletries for us, which was a nice touch. We had a great experience and will definitely bring our kids and parents back next time!

The weather in Haikou was sunny, and the hotel environment was beautiful. The butler, GG, was very enthusiastic and helpful. Even though there were a few minor issues, they were resolved quickly. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance. It's also conveniently located near the port, airport, and duty-free shop. A great choice for a vacation.

Huge thanks to the staff for their attentive service these past few days – our stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is really close to the beach, making it super convenient to get around, and both the breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful. A special shout-out to our butler, Zirong (紫榕). She coordinated and fulfilled all our requests immediately, helping us switch to a higher-floor room and a firmer mattress. She also thoughtfully recommended great places to visit nearby, proactively shared information about kids' activities, and even helped us book a travel photoshoot and dinner. Her service was meticulous and thorough, making us feel completely at home!

My biggest impression was the excellent service; every staff member was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. The hotel has direct access to the beach, where there are various entertainment options with clear pricing, allowing you to choose freely. The hotel also offers scheduled family-friendly activities, which are great for kids. They provided a complimentary photoshoot, and the photographer was very patient and took some great pictures. We paid extra for additional photos.

This resort is perfect for families, offering a tranquil and delightful experience. You can catch the sunrise over the ocean right from your room's balcony in the morning, with only the sound of the waves for company. During the day, there's no need to leave the hotel; the winding garden paths and hammocks provide the perfect relaxation. In the afternoon, you can soak in the hot spring pool facing the sea, letting your body and mind completely unwind. As the sun sets, the gentle sea breeze and the twinkling hotel lights create an exceptionally warm atmosphere. The staff member CZ was incredibly kind and attentive, even arranging a heater for us when the temperature dropped. Highly recommend!

Our stay was fantastic! Our butler, Zirong, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She proactively shared vouchers with us, recommended great local spots, and even suggested children's activities – her attention to detail was exceptional. The hotel is super close to the beach, just a short walk away, and the environment is comfortable and clean.

I booked a standard king room. Before check-in, a staff member (JG) added me on WeChat, so I could communicate any needs there. The pool water quality was good, just a little cool, colder than the ocean. The Haikou beach was fantastic, with fine sand that felt great underfoot. It wasn't crowded at all at this time, very chill. You could even see the sunset. A really great travel experience, worth the price.

The room was really great – very spacious with a large balcony. The staff service was also excellent. Coco was particularly thoughtful; knowing I was traveling with my child, she proactively offered a bed rail and kids' toothbrushes, which was a lovely touch. The hotel also has a pool, perfect for a swim when the weather's warm in the afternoon, and you can enjoy the hot springs in the evening. It's a fantastic place for a family vacation.

The hotel's overall style is very grand. Although my room faced the garden, the view was still lovely and well-ventilated. The hotel's external facilities are excellent, including bubble hot springs and water scooters. The breakfast selection met general standards, though the variety wasn't extensive. Room service was a bit slow, but after I provided feedback, they actively followed up and corrected the issue, so I'm still giving it a five-star rating.

Amazing service. The best Sheraton Hotel on Hainan Island. Definitely better service than the Sheraton Hotel in Shenzhou , Wanning. Great service from the hotel staff, her name is Erin. 😀

The hotel stay was great, and Erin's service was excellent throughout our multi-day stay. Overall, we had a very good experience. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and also very close to the duty-free shop, which is super convenient. There's even a hot spring on the first floor, which is a lovely amenity this time of year!
