I've had the pleasure of staying at several high-end hotels, including the Hakone Gora Byakudan. Without a doubt, Byakudan surpasses its competitors in every aspect. The service, facilities, and genuine care for guests are exceptional. I only wish I could have extended my stay. The room was flawlessly clean, and the bed provided a truly restful night's sleep. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, readily available to assist with any needs. The hotel's location is convenient, offering easy access to local attractions. Additionally, the complimentary car service to nearby destinations such as art museums and the cable station was a thoughtful touch. The Japanese dinner and breakfast were beyond delicious, featuring a diverse array of options. The snacks and wine bar were equally impressive. I particularly enjoyed the massage chair and the delightful ice-cream selection. I wholeheartedly recommend the Hakone Gora Byakudan to anyone visiting the area

We stayed at Byakudan and loved it. The staff were very kind and high quality of service. From the moment we walked in, we were attended to in great detail and provided excellent service and amenities. We stayed in the Jin Suite and it was very spacious, comfortable, clean and relaxing. The furnishings were a nice blend of Japanese and Western. The open air private onsen was large and private. Every dish in the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious. We will definitely come back to stay at Byakudan in Hakone Gora again!

Private onsen on the room and you can have your own dinning area were super nice. You can enjoy all the amenities in the hotel. Highly recommended for couples and families who want to spend time together and do nothing because the atmosphere there was so relaxed. Friendly staffs and they even drove us to the nearest station.

The best hotel which i have ever tried, food is so so so good , service is excellent, looking forward to come again soon !

Everything is perfect. Nice and cosy. Recommend to stay 2 nights if you want to do a day trip around the area.

Very nice and quiet environment for complete relaxation! Great service and can enjoy free coffee & tea/wine/snacks. It's better to stay 2 nights or up.

When booking the hotel, I stated that my daughter is allergic to peanuts and eggs (overdosing of allergic ingredients can be life-threatening). When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk delivered the room very slowly. We had to wait in the lobby for a full 20 minutes before the key was handed over. While waiting for the room in the lobby, an Indian male employee confirmed with me twice that my daughter is allergic to peanuts and eggs. So far, everything is normal. I made a reservation for dinner at 18:30. When I arrived at the restaurant with my 5-year-old daughter, the restaurant staff did not provide children's tableware until I asked for it a second time. Upon arrival, the staff did not explain which allergy meal it was, but asked to use dinner as normal and promised that everything had been noted. Ten minutes after my daughter started taking the medicine, she started to have vomiting and abdominal pain (she had not eaten anything before the meal). I immediately gave my daughter anti-allergy medication, but the abdominal pain continued and I asked the hotel to call an ambulance immediately. Next came the most disgusting stage of the entire hotel stay. A short-haired female employee in the restaurant immediately distanced herself from the relationship and said that our hotel had nothing to do with my daughter's current situation. She started to process my daughter's departure without my request. When she checked out and asked me to settle the bill of 2,500 yen for drinks in the restaurant, I dumped her 2,000 yen on the spot, ***************! The time was 19:10, and I did not There was no fuss, I stayed calm throughout the whole process and took care of my daughter and communicated with the hotel staff in English. When the guest's life was in danger, the hotel staff did not choose to rescue, but immediately chose to distance themselves from the relationship and asked the guest to pay the fee and leave the hotel. The White Sandal Hotel has no morals at all! I have been coming to Japan twice a year since 2016 , each stay is no less than ten days, and I have never encountered such a rubbish hotel! I don’t know how this hotel is ranked in the top 100 of trip.com! A typical murder for money! When the ambulance arrived, the female employee stayed throughout the entire trip I laughed out loud with my colleagues, and even jokingly told me not to be angry and stay calm! When it was already life-threatening, you calmly kicked the guests out of the hotel and asked for payment for the drinks. It was great! My daughter got in the car and vomited again and fell into coma when we arrived. After a series of treatments at the hospital, the doctor issued a report and explained that my daughter was indeed suffering from abdominal pain and vomiting due to food allergy! That night, we called a taxi and returned to the hotel. No employee came out to greet us. The hotel had nothing to do with us. They didn't provide any help other than calling an ambulance for us! Until I provided the doctor's report stating that the condition was indeed caused by food allergies, the *** female employee was speechless and continued to say it was none of their business. This was so shameless* *The ability to clear up relationships is really great. She only kept saying "wait a moment" throughout the whole process. Their manager was not here, and the 20,000 yen I dumped her last night was returned to me intact, and she never asked me to pay for the drinks. Money, I insisted on paying for the drinks when I checked out. I told the hotel that you asked me to pay 2,500 yen at that time. Why didn't you charge me now? The hotel did not apologize to me and dismissed me, nor did they tell us that it was their relationship. I communicated with the trip staff and asked the hotel to refund and reimburse all medical expenses, and the hotel agreed unconditionally. Why should the hotel waive my fee if it feels it is not its fault? I won’t go to this trashy, conscienceless hotel again! Let’s talk about the hotel hardware. When the hot spring is completely leaking, the floor-to-ceiling glass is a movable glass gap, which will leak air. The indoor temperature of the hot spring is no different from that of the outdoor. The food waste is only two pieces of broken duck breast, pork and two pieces of beef. Twelve thousand The price of one night in Hong Kong dollars is totally worth the price! The price is more expensive than Kawaguchiko Fufu, but the hardware, service, and ingredients can’t keep up! A typical Internet celebrity hype hotel!

The reputation of Gora is well-deserved. The environment is excellent, overlooking the big river, forgetting worries, leaving the world behind, and letting Zen enter your heart. The private soup is comfortable, and the service is attentive, which is amazing. The food is not good, although it is not the highlight, it is delicious. I love the cute snacks and small night snacks.

A very satisfactory hotel! I will come to Hakone for this white sandalwood next time! The private bath is very beautiful and the environment is very quiet. The public bath is also very comfortable, natural hot spring ♨️, breakfast and dinner are set meals, not bad.

The hot spring hotel I stayed in in Japan should be ranked as a good hotel, and the food is also very delicious. The hygiene and service are first-class, the facilities are complete, comfortable and new. The atmosphere is very comfortable

As soon as I entered the lobby on the day of check-in, I immediately wanted to stay at this hotel for another night. [It’s a pity that it’s full] Hotel guidance and communication are only in Japanese and English. When leaving, arrange a shuttle bus to [Kowakidani] station. PS: There are up and down mountain cable cars. If you go in the wrong direction, you will have to go in a big circle. Remember to tell them the direction you want to go.

The hotel services, rooms and meals are all first-class, and there are free snacks and drinks for everyone in the evening. The aromatherapy in the room is also great. great experience

The room was big enough and the private bath was great. It was a pity that the weather was not good when we went there.
