This is an absolutely stunning hostel. The single cabins and double cabins are small, but very comfortable. There is more than enough toileting and showering facilities for everyone, and you always have plenty of privacy. The staff are super helpful and welcoming. The menu and drinks are great. The cabins come with plenty of built-in wireless charging, usb ports, built-in Bluetooth speakers and electricity points. Large and smaller towel per person, along with a bathrobe. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs all within a few minutes walk. 5 minute walk to central Hamburg train station for the airport and all other locations. I am very impressed with this hostel and would recommend it highly.

Good location, but the room is relatively small

I actually love the idea of this hostel! I definitely think there should be more around the world, if there is i am yet to find them! Having a private room is great in a hostel for those who are a little weary of sharing a room with stragers. The room and bathrokm facilities were all very clean, staff friendly. I would stay again. I would maybe pick a top room next time due to a heavy footed person being above me but it was alright

I was intrigued about this hotel and it's premise, so since I just needed a safe bed in Hamburg for one night, it was worth a try. The place is easy to find but I arrived late on a Monday night and the area around it was a little crazy, so would I feel safe at night here, maybe 75%. Definitely not in the most attractive/safe area of Hamburg but it's within walking distance of Hamburg HBF so hey it's cool. The room is small just like you are shown but it's comfy. I do wish there was a little extra space for your stuff- if you have more than a backpack, it's gonna be tight. Noise control is great- you don't hear a peep out of any of the other capsules. There's no way to have an overview of the 4 stories unless you explore though, which is sad because they offer self-check-in but then you are kind of left to figure it out. First timers, check in at the desk. The robe I was provided was too small but PLEASE just ask the front desk for a bigger size. The bathrooms on the ground level where I was were ridiculously dark which makes you feel like it's kind sketch. The shared shower facilities are really nice though- minimalistic but definitely all you need. I would stay here again as long as I'm not hanging around there- the room is really small and hanging out there would probably feel cramped. Great place if you're solo,. only need a bed and not much else.

Simple hostel-like Hotel for young budget travelers who don't care too much about space. The single rooms are very small (and so well ventilated) but definitely okay for a stay of a few days, especially considering its central location. The staff was super friendly and very readily available throughout my stay!

Ich mache es ganz kurz. Ich übernachte so gut wie nie in Hostels, ist einfach nicht wirklich meine Sache. In dem Fall war ich aber so begeistert, dass ich definitiv nach was ähnlichem in anderen Städten suchen werde, und in Hamburg hab ich jetzt eindeutig meine "immer wieder gerne"-Unterkunft. Perfekt!

+ Modern and stylish + Everything was clean + Everything was as shown on the pictures - A cleaner knocked and then opened my door, before I could reply to the knock, at 9:45. Check-out is at 11. The door was locked from the inside, apparently that means nothing. ***? I was trying to sleep, I had not checked out, and the door was locked. How can this happen?! Next, they start vacuuming and rummaging around the cabin horizontally adjacent to me across the next 30 minutes, which made it impossible to sleep again. (I had a late night, and was going to have a long day and evening this day, hence me wanting to sleep nearly another hour before I had to get up for check-out.) - Not quite soundproof; hallway music was turned on around 9:30 and softly audible inside the cabin. (I did not hear any noise from guests in other cabins.) It did not wake me up, but it did not help with falling back asleep. - Not quite light-proof either. The shutters dim it to the light level of a half-full moon: not enough to read a book, but you can see detailed outlines of everything still. - The temperature in a cabin cannot be regulated; it's rather warm (if it were cold, you could just put on another blanket... but it was slightly too warm) + Plenty of charging spots in the cabin + The cabin feels cozy - The pillow was extremely thin. Most pillows are too thick for me, but this pillow was like laying on a fluffy towel. No other pillows available inside the cabin (I did not ask for another one either). I added my (yet unused) shower towel below it and that was fine. - The bed was very high up (around my belly button iirc; I'm 1.80m tall). Fine for me, but if you are not athletic, you cannot get in. Grabbing something from your bag below at night meant getting up and doing gymnastics. There was a little plank on the wall which looked like a shelf and I am not sure would have held me (63kg); unclear whether this is meant as a stepping aid but it was a bit low and narrow for that anyway. + Enough space in the cabin to store your backpack as well as taking some things out of the backpack while getting (un)dressed standing up. This is different (much more spacious) than the capsules you might have seen from Japan. + Showers were a good and consistent temperature + Good price for vegan food in the restaurant I saw other reviews mentioning a draft of air aimed at their face all night: I did not have that, no matter whether I laid with my head or with my feet towards the door. My air vent supplied a tiny amount of cool air, barely flowing and not noticeable unless you put your hand beside it. Another review mentioned an automatic light turning on whenever they moved at night. My automatic night was below the bed and did not trigger unless I stood there. The main light and another adjustable reading light were button-operated. My cabin was #002, the upper cabin of a pair. Sauber, nettes Personal. Besonderen Dank gilt Denise für die unkomplizierte Hilfe bei meinem Problem (Zimmerwechsel) . An die Umwelt denkend - ganz wenig Plastik kam in Einsatz. Vielleicht könnte man für das Schietwetter im Notfall einen Regenschirm anbieten.
