Отель в нескольких минутах ходьбы от жд и автобусного вокзалов. Довольно старый, но в целом номер в порядке. До центра города вполне можно дойти пешком.
Завтрак достаточно скромный: вареные яйца, сырная и мясная нарезка, немного овощей, чай, кофе, один вид выпечки. Жаль, что не было омлета, но в целом позавтракать можно.

Eight min walk from the main train station. There are decent restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance.
The gross part I can remember was the towels were replaced with blood stains ones! Yuck

The quietness of the room.
The surroundings of the hotel are badly frequented.
The equipment in the room was poor (the telephone was not working and the channels on TV were only german-speaking)

Very out of date decor in the room. Mzmy single room was ok but very basic and not nice as such. Breakfast also very basic. If i wouldnt eat egg as a vegetarian and cheese i could have only had jam..
My pillow was lumpy. When exchanged the one i was given turned out to be another blanket.

I stayed in "Alte Wache" hotel 2 nights for working reasons, arriving by taxi from the apt. The kindness, courtesy and service efficiency of the gentleman and the lady at the reception deserve a top rate. They both are a great example of care and warm hospitality, making every guest feel really welcomed. The lobby is nice in its old fashion style, the double room is spacious, perfectly clean and silent; breakfast was very good, and much better than some 4stars hotel: the tea blend selections very appreciated and the fresh flower on the tables a lovely, precious gift!! 2 small suggestions: 1) the morning waitress should be a little bit more smilying; 2) do not accomodate a person alone in a dinner table for 6. The hotel is also extremely close to city center (walking distance), so I really reccomend it!!
