Riverbay Adventure Inn

The location is where you want to be to get away from it all. The price was triple the value as the cabin was run down and borderline unsafe.

At the last minute I searched for a place near a friend who was in the area. The write up on this place sounded promising and I hoped for a quaint cabin near the water. The cabin was near the water, but far from quaint. A bent mail was the lock for the frame my door. The smoke detector was laying on the tv box. The remote for the tv was held together with tape. One roll of tp per reservation. Bring your own linen. Smoke filled the cabin when we tried the oven. Window was taken apart with one part on the floor in a puddle of water. Shower was not attached to the walls with leaks onto the floor. We spent our two nights and enjoyed the nature sounds and beautiful sunset. When we checked under the bed on our way to checkout we found a used Kotex.

At first site cottage #2 is what we would describe as "rustic". If you're looking for glamping this is not for you. With that being said it was really perfect for my husband and I and our dog. Enjoyed having the amenities of home while camping. The shower wasn't great but did the trick to rinse the heat and river off after a hot day. Loved the extra fans and the screen porch. Cable was wonderful and we watched Seinfeld and the Office all week long. Would definitely come back for more adventure. The staff and fellow campers were all friendly and helpful.

They went out of their way to assure I was comfortable. Love this place!

Best place for the price.

Juat steps away from water with view of small boat docks. Very secluded. 20 minutes from Alexandria Bay

My wife and I have stayed many places along the St Lawrence and Chippewa Bay(Riverbay Adventure Inn) is so far the best. We plan to go back in the spring/summer with our boat. For anyone looking to get away and relax. This is the perfect spot.
