Summerfields House

Secure parking for my motorcycle was important for me which was a nice thing to have for peace of mind ,the room "seaside " looked over a woods and a snippet of the sea.One could walk in the woods ,lot,s of wild life , and history. The bed was comfy and the sheets were clean.Breakfast was served with a smile every morning ,selection of tea,s or coffee. Ian drove me to the centre of Hastings so i could get some rolly fudge as the centre was packed and there were no motorcycle spaces leftthank you. Fiona is a warm hearted person who is lovley to talk too and has always a open ear thank you also all my best wishes.

We booked a couple of days in Hastings last minute, and came across Summerfield House as the reviews were really good. Fiona and Ian gave us a very warm welcome, and they were the greatest of hosts. Premises were clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made a pleasant change from a hard hotel mattress. Breakfast was plentiful, and cooked to a high standard. Surroundings are very pleasant, and the location is perfect as its on the edge of town. It's definitely worth booking your stay here, as you won't be disappointed. Thank you Fiona and Ian. We hope to be able to return for another stay.

Our first time visiting Hastings and Summerfields House was the perfect location for our stay. The hosts Fiona and Ian made us feel so welcome. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely garden view and a glimpse of the sea. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It’s easy to walk to the town or seaside ~ albeit a bit of a hike back up the hill. We would certainly return if and when we are back in the area. Highly recommend this delightful B&B.

Thankyou Ian and Fiona for a lovely stay. I stayed in the Hedegrows Room which had its own private beautiful bathroom. Both days I had breakfast it was delicious with great orange juice and range of cereals. Easy to get to from the sea or from town, but positioned far enough away to be quiet. We booked 2 nights at Summerfields House B & B because the Hotels we looked at were far too expensive and were offering very little for the money . Summerfields reviews were excellent and the cost was very reasonable. We arrived just after 3 pm (Check in time) and were greeted by our Hosts Fiona and Ian . Fiona showed us to our room which overlooked the rear garden and the surrounding Woods . The Property is set on a Private Road and has secure gates with Pin Pad access . They have plenty of room for Parking and a Bus stop at the end of the Lane . It is a 7 minute walk to the Sea Front . You would not know you were in the centre of Hastings as it is so quiet . Our Room was perfect , will all amenities one would need . A very comfortable Bed , a good size TV , not that we watched much . The Private Bathroom was just across the Hallway .( Other Rooms are Ensuite ) Very large Bathroom and very well laid out and Beautifully decorated with quality soaps & Shampoos etc . Breakfast was included and was served in the Conservatory and was cooked to order Beautifully . This B & B is ideal for a quiet relaxing Getaway . Could not Fault it . On their Website we noticed they say they are visited by Foxes and other Wildlife . On returning to the property after a Day exploring Hastings we were greeted by a Large Fox relaxing beside the Driveway . I was able to take a couple of Photos of it and it only moved after we had opened the Gates and began to Drive into the Driveway . It was terrific to see this. We highly recommend Summerfields House .

OMG where do I start, welcomed at the door on our first day with the warmest smile, really made us feel welcome, the house was immediately clean, smelt lovely too, lovely comfy bed, " we both slept so well", breakfast was on point, we will definitely stay here again , 100% ..thank you Summer fields house for such lovely hospitality , from Mr and Mrs Wheeler ♥️
