We had a very quiet room facing the inner courtyard. Everything was very clean, modern, new, fantastic mattresses. Staff very helpful, competent and courteous. Perfect! Only the coffee at breakfast wasn't that tasty, but the rest of the breakfast was very good. I would be happy to come back anytime!

We had booked the junior suite. I had already had very positive contact with the staff via email beforehand. When we arrived we wanted to use the underground car park. It was locked. When we asked if reception could open it, we were told to pick up the parking card from reception. Unfortunately there was no parking in front of the entrance door or in the area and it was pouring with rain. The staff were friendly enough to bring the card to the underground car park entrance. When we got to the room we felt very comfortable. The birthday cake we had ordered was on the table with a candle. For the high price we were a little surprised by some of the furniture. In addition to some very modern furniture and the new bathroom including sauna, there were also some very old, thrown-together pieces of furniture, some of which were already peeling and did not look modern or new. The sauna instructions say that you have to unlock it at reception. When I called I found that reception was no longer manned. However, we were able to use the sauna anyway. Unfortunately there was no bar where we could go again in the evening. The breakfast buffet is extensive, but still quite small, which you almost overlook as you walk past. Egg dishes (scrambled eggs, fried eggs, and regular eggs) are served at the table. Unfortunately, there were no omelettes. Because of the corona pandemic, you had to bring a negative test to breakfast. One test result was accepted by the QR code reader, the other was not. So my partner had to go to the next test station and do a new test and was able to come to my place for breakfast after almost an hour. The next morning, nobody wanted to scan our test results anymore. One look was enough. Even when we asked, the staff were surprised and just said that the reader was not suitable for it. The hotel is very close to the Neckar and you can quickly walk into the beautiful city. The street noise did not bother us on the 5th floor. We really liked it there, but the price could have been lower considering the few pieces of furniture (skin leather cover peeling off, mixed wooden furniture that did not match in color) that did not look high quality.
