Hotel was great staff excellent. The Christmas town experience was a bust. We read the town was a top Halmark Christmas destination its not even close.

Staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast was good, I was in room 215 and the fold out sofa was disgusting, I don’t want to know what happened on it, thankfully we didn’t need it

I was very pleased with this hotel. Super friendly check in staff and they gave us little snack bags. I have never had a hotel do that , it was a special little extra touch. The hallways smelled good ( I feel like a lot of hotels have a musty smell in the hallways), the room was super clean and the bed, pillows and comforter were awesome!

The hotel itself was nice. The breakfast in the morning had a nice variety.
The room was pretty clean and well stocked. When we got to the room we discovered that our air unit did not work and the drain in the shower did not stay open. In the hallway, there were dirty sheets just sitting there. They were there when we checked in and stayed there all night and into thw next day.
We only stayed one night and the room was satisfactory for the one night of stay.

Circumstances changed such that we required a handicap accessible room. None was available and no cancellation or refund was offered. We were fortunate to find lodging with relatives. We had just stayed at the same hotel a week ago and found it satisfactory then, but the lack of flexibility and the fact we had to pay for a room we couldn’t use was distressing.

The price of the room was incompatible with the facility. It was way above what the rate should have been for a Holiday Inn Express...that was very difficult to find because of the lack of signage. Also, there was no soap in the shower, which I didn't notice until I was in the shower and dripping. The ONLY alternative was to leave the shower and use the bottle of "hand soap" that was connected to the wall beside the sink. It was disconcerting at best. I was charged too much for what I received. I will think twice before staying at another Holiday Inn Express in the future.
