What an excellent place to stay. We came for a family wedding and were made welcome throughput our stay. Hotel and staff were exceptional as was the castle! Food was put of this world, even for me who has coeliac so needs gluten free! Hotel shuttled us between the Vale and the Castle which was a God send for those wearing heels! We paid for a basic room, let me say there was nothing basic about it!! Huge comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with a walk in shower, the usual tea, coffee, water etc, if this was basic I would never leave the higher grade rooms!
