Harbour House was a lovely set up and perfect location. Loved it!

Superb location , sea views

We were arranged to stay in the annex building, which is not in the hotel, but on the upper floor of another commercial street after crossing the road! On rainy days, you have to cross the road with an umbrella to have breakfast, which is super inconvenient. There is a smell in the room, which feels like it is old and unventilated. There is a fishy smell when you open the window... We arrived at the hotel at about 8:50. When the nearby restaurant will open the kitchen at 9 o'clock, the front desk of this hotel lied to us and said that their front desk would be off work at 9:30, so we were asked to check in first, resulting in us not being able to eat anything in the end. We had to drive several kilometers to buy McDonald's in the middle of the night The next morning, I complained to the manager. The overall feeling was that the manager was partial to the employees. Knowing that the employees lied yesterday, he just said that he would educate them; I could clearly feel that the main service objects were white people, and the difference in their attitudes towards Chinese nobles and Asians. We were the only Chinese guests in the whole hotel; then our dispute was noticed by the white people passing by, and the hotel manager agreed to let the employees apologize to us (I took a picture of the last irresponsible manager's name tag)

I really like this hotel. The reasons being - it’s not over priced, it has lovely rooms and it’s super central. The staff are incredibly friendly and it’s great. I have stayed in another main hotel in Hermanus but I found that to be very overpriced for what it is. This hotel works perfectly for a one or two night stay.

Absolutely loved our time at Harbour house, they helped with bed changes and service was wonderful, The breakfast was delicious with different options, the staff was friendly we enjoyed the pool and cocktails was 10/10 we can’t wait to return!

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel whilst on a road trip along the Garden Route We decided to upgrade our room for the 2 nights at a very small cost as it had a sea view and with binoculars we could watch whales in the bay - Southern Right Whales females calf’s and males The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble There are no facilities to eat dinner but there are plenty of restaurants in Hermanus for all tastes and preferences Breakfast was cooked to order and was amazing - no need for lunch We worth considering staying if you are traveling the garden route

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. We were there for 2 nights and both rooms were spotless and had balconies that had sea views. They have plenty of parking, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We didn’t use the pool as it was a bit cold. If you get a chance do the cliff walk you’ll see lots of nature and some great views. The local restaurants are also very good. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay at Harbour House. We had one of the 2 bedroom apartments in Harbour Square just across the road from the main building. Location was perfect very close to restaurants and shops and lovely sea view from the pool. Excellent cold buffet and hot Breakfast . Lovely touch with the welcome drink and the daily complimentary afternoon tea and scones by the poolside. All staff lovely and special mention to the happy singing Shaun.

Very nice hotel with the perfect location and service. Nice and cosy rooms, nice pool area and very friendly and helpful staff. We will come back again!

Very pleasant stay Rooms are very da Meer 👌 💯 Scenic view and waiter at restaurant was a vibe so early in the morning, which started our morning with a laugh. Thank you Shaun

Regrettably we were only here for one night. Wish we could have stayed longer. The room was bright and airy with a small balcony, kitchenette and large bathroom and a comfortable bed. Breakfast had everything you could possibly want. Location was the best. Overlooking the sea, right in the middle of town with restaurants and shops right on your doorstep. Loved this hotel

We stayed at the hotel for two days and it was great, breakfast is good, staff excellent and the room big and clean. The hotel is on the best spot in Hermanus.

A truly brilliant stay. Very friendly staff and a beautiful setting, we loved our time here and wished we could’ve stayed for longer. Free breakfast and a welcome drink were a nice touch and add to that a huge and beautiful room this place was faultless

Kids loved the buffet breakfast. Would recommend trying their amazing homemade jams. The staff serving a breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting for a hotel. We sat on the sun lounges looking out over the mountains and sea front. We stayed in the le paradis apartments at the harbour House hotel. They were very clean, spacious and felt luxurious.
