Me and my husband recently visited the Albatros spa hotel on our honeymoon. The hotel was lovely, and in such a good area, walking distance from the beach and local restaurants, bars clubs ect. One thing I would say is that the food really isn't that great, there isn't much choice the restaurant staff are seriously rude!!! (apart from one guy I can't remember his name) that served us our coffee at breakfast time. To me it wasn't a great atmosphere sitting in the restruant at breakfast time so this kind of put a bit of a dampener on our stay.

Great hotel, close to the beach. Friendly, hardworking staff. Good assortment of food every day for breakfast and dinner. The Spa is good value for money. The deep tissue massage was very relaxing. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Myself and my husband had a lovely holiday at this hotel. After upgrading our hotel room from the old side of the building to the new one, we were happy. The pool area is great and gets the sun for most of the day. Waiter will deliver you drinks to your sun bed if you like. The food was delicious and I would recommend it, lots of choice for breakfast. We went half board, the selection was great with different themes every night. Entertainment was good, however nothing on the weekend, we would have liked something every night. However the bars and restaurants are very close, small walk from the back of hotel and very friendly with lots to choice from. We did not see a rep from Jet 2, we booked two trips through Orange Travel opposite the hotel, these were fantastic and highly recommend the trip to Spinalonger Island. The whole team at the hotel were warm and friendly, which really made our stay special, thank you.

Outstanding service with a friendly and attentive staff. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and comfortable. Fantastic amenities, convenient location, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend for a memorable stay!!!!!

Overall, we had a good stay but... Yeah, there are lots of buts. It's a very loud hotel, not for someone who likes to rest and sleep. You can hear everything in your room—snapping doors, moving furniture. So when the cleaning starts, your sleep is over. Another issue is the restaurant. For me, there was not a lot of choice and not everything was tasty. It mostly had vegetables, as the way they served meat was not my cup of tea. There was very little choice for kids. Another funny thing was paying for drinks with your dinner (we paid for half board). You are not even allowed to have your own bottle of water. We had a small bottle of water for my son, and I was told to hide it as we could only have water from them if we paid for it. Some staff at the restaurant were rude. On the positive side: nice room with a pool view, big enough for 2 people. Cleaned every day. We arrived very late, so got vouchers for lunch the next day, which was nice as we missed breakfast. Lots of sunbeds and an overall nice area outside to catch the sun. Great location near the beach and the small town with restaurants with nice views over the sea

Excellent hotel. Location is fabulous, set back a few yards away from the beach and very near the thick of it on the ***** of busy bars and restaurants. Exceptionally clean. Staff so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel

It was the second time that we were in Hotel Albatros The staff was very friendly. The food was very tasty and varied. The rooms are big and very clean, we had a superieur room in the new building. First we had a cozy room, it was very nice but for us too small. We want a larger room. We had a great time in Hotel Albatros.

This hotel was fantastic loved it ,it has a mix of old new throughout the hotel ,staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble,got to give shoutout to cleaning staff service is second to none very clean rooms and cleaned every day got to be 10/10 rooms are very spacious and beds are very comfortable,got good room with views so happy with that,good range of food throughout the day and night with theme nights ,plus dancing and cooking lessons with like to try it ,plenty of spaces next to the two pools in the grounds with bar next to them ,hotel is only few minutes for main ***** which is great. There is spa on the ground with good deals if you like that sort of thing,the hotel is a must if you are going to Crete great hotel brilliant staff 10/10 for me .

Very clean and nice hotel. Even in May there were everyday activities in evenings organized by the hotel. My suggestion is adding a small playground for little children somewhere within hotel grounds. Food was ok and served in long intervals that are suitable for everbody
