SOHO Residence & Hotel Reviews

We are family of four. We booked this SoHo residence because we thought there are 4 beds for each individual so that everyone can sleep comfortably. When we arrive at the homestay we are very disappointed which the rooms and beds are not as per the photo listing in trip.com. There are only 2 queen beds without futon beds until we request from the owner. The futon bed is not the thick type. There are also no space for us to put the futon at the living room. The living room floor is spoilt too. And the space is small. One of the bedroom cabinet still have the previous tenant left out stuffs inside the cabinets. It is full of boxes and even clothes inside the wardrobe. I check with the owner and the owner said the tenants left in shorts notice and did not manage to clear the stuffs. This is seriously not acceptable by us. Nearby the building the street is not that clean and also not many food stalls nearby. We suppose booked 4 nights at Soho. But we decided to stay one night only (as we check in at night time). We cancelled the 3 remaining nights. And we look for new homestay on the next day morning immediately. Overall we are not satisfied and will not recommend to anyone.

Superb and comfy room with good location to Bui Vien walking street and good cafes downstairs too

The stay is more like a flat, if you are coming to stay for more days choose this or else find other hotel

The bathroom had no window, and the floor drain smelled bad. I asked for the apartment to be cleaned, but no one came. I won't be staying here again.

The checking in experience is no good. We booked a 3 bedroom apartment the lock not working. In the end 3 of us have to sleep all seperate room which defeated our plans of staying as a group The response are slow in all response. WhatsApp no response. Overall is not a pleasure stay Our group will not stay here

Excellent apartment! I almost didn't book it because I couldn't understand why so many people gave it low ratings.

With the great facilities, we have decided to extend a night!

It had clean and comfortable rooms. There was a lot of noise because there was construction next door. The staff was friendly. They even stored our luggage for us when we went on our next trip to another city.

Good location with lots of local food around. Walking distance from 10-20 minutes to attraction.

Every night they would pump the sewage and the smell was awful. We booked a 2 room for 5 people and there was supposed to be a sofa bed but no bed was there but instead a tiny futon that was maybe 1m wide

Room is clean with all required amenities, surrounding area had decent number of food choice

Checking in was incredibly difficult. There's no front desk and no one to contact; you absolutely need a local person to help you get in touch. It's really tough. I'd advise against staying here if you're not good with English.

The location is great, the room is clean and comfortable.
