Hotel is easily accessible by grab taxi from airport. Ben Thanh market, Bui Vien walking street and Post Office all within walking distance. Plenty of eateries and mini mart around. Hotel’s breakfast is normal. Perhaps, hotel can look into a Mon/Wed/Fri and Tues/Thur/Sat/Sun type A and type B breakfast menu instead of the same everyday. Overall, value for money.

Some rooms, including mine, have windows facing the corridor, which made them a bit smelly. However, considering the price, it's a really great deal. If you like bars, there's a lively bar street right downstairs.

Room is big and spacious, location is great near central market and lot of eatery around. Hotel staff are friendly and approachable. Will stay this hotel when visit Ho Chi Minh again.

The hotel's location is fantastic – within walking distance to many attractions, and the surrounding area is bustling at night, yet the rooms remain quiet, offering a peaceful retreat in a lively spot. The room amenities are a bit basic and somewhat dated, but that's understandable given the reasonable price. All the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, always smiling, greeting guests, and ready to assist with any questions. Breakfast is good too; it's simple but filling, and you can even order à la carte for free (check the third picture). The last coffee in the picture was bought while out shopping.

For a small shoplot type of hotel, Saigonciti Hotel A sets a new standard for the competition! Comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms, great breakfast, and staff always on standby for every query and assistance required. Did I mention the unbeatable price? Extra 10 points also for it being close to all the must-visits in District 1. Another bonus is the Central Market food court is just across the street, which is a great place to sample HCMC delicacies in one spot. We did encounter some hiccups with the room - a faulty door lock and a bathroom light that went out. Both issues were promptly dealt with by the staff. The receptionist was fantastic too as she's fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin - she helped me find the best coffee in town and great local foodie spots. I know I would definitely come back the next time I'm in town.
