Ibis Saigon Airport

Great location! There's a Starbucks in the lobby downstairs and a FamilyMart right outside to the left. There's also a large shopping mall nearby. It's less than a 10-minute drive to the airport. The breakfast is very rich and includes local Vietnamese dishes, Western pastries, toast, salad, coffee, and freshly squeezed juice. The bed was also very comfortable.

I chose the Ibis Saigon Airport Hotel purely because I had a 6:20 AM flight the next day. Upon check-in, I immediately booked the complimentary shuttle for 4 AM the following morning to Terminal 2. The hotel doesn't accept shuttle reservations via email; you have to book it at the front desk. The room, though not large, was well-arranged and made efficient use of the available space. The T building, which is 16 stories high, has a rooftop pool, but no one was swimming. From there, the views were expansive, and you could watch planes take off and land in the distance. Next to the pool was a bar and restaurant, and further inside, a gym. Exiting the hotel and turning left, there's a shopping mall. The lower floors were quite deserted, but the fifth floor had many restaurants, offering good value for money. The downside was that our room faced the street, and the soundproofing of the windows wasn't very good, which affected our sleep at night.

Extremely satisfied! The room was very spacious, and my child was thrilled to have a double bed all to themselves. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which is a huge plus! There's a Starbucks downstairs, it's about a 25-minute drive to the city center, and only 5 minutes to the airport!

The family room is more spacious than a standard room, and like all Ibis hotels, the layout is quite well-designed. The adjacent mall is very convenient, and the rice noodles at the food court on the fifth floor are excellent. The shuttle service is also very handy.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the airport, about a 7-8 minute drive. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which needs to be booked in advance. As a tourist, I couldn't call to book, so I tried my luck sending an email. I really appreciate how quickly the hotel staff responded. The email clearly detailed where to find the shuttle service at T2 and T1, and suggested I take the free airport shuttle from T3 to T2 to meet the hotel's pick-up staff. I successfully found the Ibis sign and the staff, and had a smooth check-in. The hotel rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped, with a fridge, slippers, and even surprisingly good disposable toothbrushes. All the hotel staff were very friendly and efficient, making my stay and trip very convenient and comfortable. If I ever visit Ho Chi Minh City again, I will definitely choose Ibis hotel!
