The room was extremely clean and big. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful and kind.

Unbeatable location! Fantastic Japanese-style service and staff. The hotel is clean and tidy, and I love the lovely scent inside! It's very convenient to get to all the major attractions by Grab taxi. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

Stayed in an Executive Club Suite. For Japanese travelers, the excellent service and sense of security are probably the best. Highly recommended for a first-time visit to Ho Chi Minh City. However, the food at the Executive Lounge was a bit sparse. The afternoon tea was self-service, but being able to smoke on the terrace made it a comfortable experience.

Our stay was for two days, from August 14th. Ho Chi Minh City was very hot, and we arrived at the hotel early, but they promptly showed us to our room. We then headed for afternoon tea at 2 PM. Afterward, we took the hotel's shuttle bus to Ben Thanh Market, where we walked around and bought souvenirs at various shops and a nearby supermarket. We returned to the hotel by Grab and enjoyed a relaxing happy hour with sparkling wine and beer. Breakfast was served on the second floor. There was a wide variety of dishes, and the chicken pho was so delicious that I even had a second helping of beef pho. All the staff were very kind and accommodating, even though I don't speak English well. I had packed a swimsuit but didn't end up using the pool. Next time, I'd like to stay for two nights to fully enjoy the hotel experience.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Nikko Saigon. The staff were warm, attentive and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience very comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast — a fantastic spread with a wide variety of choices, catering to different tastes and preferences. Everything was well presented and there were plenty of options to start the day well. The location is reasonably convenient and getting around the city was manageable. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay with good service, great hospitality and an excellent breakfast. I would be happy to stay here again.

As a JAL Harmony member, I was told check-in was at 2 PM, but the room wasn't ready until 3:10 PM. No hotel staff helped with my luggage. The lounge was nice, but it was noisy with elementary school kids running around and shouting. I was really looking forward to cocktail hour, so that was very disappointing. I was initially told check-out was at 3 PM, but when I confirmed the day before, I was told 2 PM. Also, during cocktail hour, no one cleared the dishes. For such a high price, the poor service was a real letdown.

The room was quite spacious. Although the facilities weren't super new or trendy, they were complete. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese options. There are malls and supermarkets nearby, which is quite convenient, and it was easy to find using navigation.

Booked this hotel for a birthday trip with my friend. Before arrival, I wrote an email checking on birthday perks and was informed we would receive a birthday card and cake. Upon arrival, there was even a birthday towel on our bed! Cake tasted good too. There were chocolates placed on our bed daily too. Unfortunately, the toilet had drainage issues and water from the shower tended to splash out despite the glass door and floor towel. There was slip risk and we had to be very careful. Also, the shower head was faulty as the water pressure significantly reduced whenever we turned the water temperature higher but once we informed the front desk, they sent a technician up to check and got it fixed immediately. Also, the fridge was faulty and the front desk sent up a new fridge as replacement. It would be good if the housekeeping staff could check on the room amenities in advance in future. Also, the housekeeping staff did not clear the birthday cake plates/cultery so it'll be nice if more attention to cleanliness could be given. Also, we only had 1 packet of bath salt replenished per day, despite having 2 guests in the room... All staff we encountered at the lobby/concierge/front door were very friendly, helpful and quick to assist! We had an early flight so we ordered Grabfood which the concierge received on our behalf. Location was very convenient too.

The hotel's service was excellent, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. However, the room I stayed in had a slight smoky smell. Although the hotel is located in Ho Chi Minh City, there aren't many shopping areas nearby. There's a small mall next to it, but there isn't much to browse. The dinner buffet was also tasty.

Very good hotel for my need of location to serve as center of HCM and as reaching the workplace. Large room well equipped, exceptional breakfast with choice and quality of food. Gym to be improved with more modern equipments.

The service was truly exceptional, and the hotel environment was fantastic. Someone was always there to open the car door upon arrival and departure, and I didn't have to carry my own luggage – it was delivered directly to my room. Anything I needed was quickly brought to the room. Turndown service was provided every night, and there was a selection of different pillows to choose from.

Hotel Nikko Saigon — one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had My stay at Hotel Nikko Saigon was genuinely exceptional. I have stayed at other Nikko properties before, including Nikko Kansai Airport and Nikko Guam, and I can honestly say that Nikko Saigon exceeded both of them. In fact, the level of service was even better than what I experienced at my previous destination in Singapore, including at the Marriott hotel where I stayed. From the moment I arrived, I was incredibly impressed by the staff. The doormen and reception staff were waiting to greet guests at the entrance, and one of the staff members noticed my Japanese passport and kindly spoke to me in Japanese. She explained everything about the hotel and even helped carry my heavy backpack. These small details made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. One moment in particular made a very strong impression on me. I was travelling alone, and when my Grab driver suddenly started asking me for additional payment, claiming that he had “forgotten to add it through the app,” I was completely caught off guard. I had no cash with me because I thought I could manage a 22-hour layover entirely cashless. I wasn’t even sure what amount the driver was asking for in the end, but the hotel staff immediately stepped in. They scanned a QR code, checked something on the driver’s phone, and I asked whether he had paid or whether I could transfer the amount or add it to my hotel bill. The staff simply told me not to worry about it and handled the situation themselves. As a young woman travelling alone, I honestly don’t know what I would have done if I had arrived at a hotel where the staff had not intervened. The two doormen in particular made sure the situation was handled and that I was safely away from the car. I am incredibly grateful to them. The turn-down service was also absolutely outstanding. It was so seamless and thoughtful that it genuinely surprised me. The staff entered the room while I was away, and although I had left my belongings somewhat scattered around, they had taken such care with everything. They had even carefully flattened out the wrinkled receipts I had left on the table, cleared away my empty coffee cup, and left chocolates on the bed. It was an incredibly thoughtful touch. The only thing I would mention as a small concern is that I was not aware that the staff had entered my room while I was away. Since I had left some personal belongings scattered around, I would have appreciated being informed beforehand. That said, the care they took with the room and the little details more than demonstrated how attentive the staff were. Literally, this is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The combination of genuinely warm hospitality, attentiveness, and thoughtful service was outstanding. Hotel Nikko Saigon has set an extremely high standard for me, and I would happily return without hesitation.

Hotel Nikko Saigon excels in understated luxury and genuine Japanese hospitality. The spacious rooms, elegant public spaces, and exceptional Nikko Club Lounge create a refined guest experience. Special recognition goes to Lounge Hosts Sophie and Vy, whose warm smiles, gracious bows, and attentive service made every visit welcoming. Equally deserving of praise is Lounge Chef Mr. Tai, whose beautifully presented afternoon tea and evening happy hour feature a changing selection of quality treats, thoughtfully prepared with great attention to detail. My sincere appreciation also goes to Chief Concierge Mr. Tong, who kindly arranged a late check-out after my onward flight to Hong Kong was delayed by the typhoon. His flexibility and thoughtful assistance made an unexpected travel disruption much less stressful. Throughout the hotel, every team member greets guests with a warm smile and courteous bow, reflecting the hotel's commitment to Japanese hospitality. The attentive doormen are always ready to open doors, assist with luggage, and arrange taxis promptly, making every arrival and departure effortless. It is this consistent service and attention to detail that make Hotel Nikko Saigon one of my preferred hotels whenever I visit Ho Chi Minh City.

The room size was moderate, and the bed had a medium firmness. Housekeeping was attentive, with turndown service provided twice daily. Guests staying on the executive floor have access to the 23rd floor, where they can enjoy views of Ho Chi Minh City, daily afternoon tea, and evening alcoholic beverages and snacks until 8 PM, along with a quiet breakfast environment (though they can also dine in the main restaurant). However, only two plastic bottled waters provided daily in the room felt insufficient. I know I could buy more, but for the room rate, I expected more services. The air conditioning in the 5th-floor gym was inadequate; it felt very hot during workouts, and the treadmills and dumbbells were outdated. The breakfast on the 2nd floor offered a wide variety, while the 23rd floor's selection was more limited, but the dining environment was very comfortable, and the coffee (Americano) was good. The bathroom was equipped with a full set of L'Occitane toiletries. The hotel staff performed their duties adequately.
