The guesthouse is located in Tsim Sha Tsui, opposite the Hong Kong Science Musuem, which is a very convenient location. The only reason you would choose to stay is the low cost. It costs about 300 HKD for a single room, while other hotels in Hong Kong cost about 2000 HKD in October 2023. With this low budget, one cannot have much expectation about the guesthouse faciliities. Some other reviews say the building is old (true) : it is a unit within a old residential building. The lift, corridor and toilet are old (true): but useable. The toilet was old and dirty : it was cleaned before checking in, so I did not worried too much. The mattress was wet and the bed cover was dirty (true) : I stayed only one night. The air condition was not cool enough : During my stay, it worked ok . It was Autumn so I did not really need air conditioning. The TV worked and I could watch the local channels: this was good, better than I read from the reviews. The bedsheets are watched and dried in the corridor (true): I did not care about it. There was no reception. It could be problematic if you do not have phone, internet connection for whatsapp/weixin to connect the staff. It was not a problem for me. The biggest issue was the main door : it could function at all, and could not be opened from outside nor inside. It could pose a big risk in case of fire. At least, I felt safer than in ChungKing Mansion. Just low budget guesthouse, good for value. If you have more budget, you would probably stay somewhere else.

The hotel is not that easy to find and the bathroom is really unclean. Bring your own slippers to wear in the bathroom. The air con in my room was not strong which made it hard to sleep in the heat, and the room in general smelled extremely damp and unclean. The building felt slightly unsafe and I only felt reassured as a solo female because I knew two other friends staying in the same hotel.

The place was ok for a short stay on transit to **************. The receptionist was very helpful and resolved koat of the difficulties faced. How ever, the room was very small and a bit difficult to navigate around.

I don’t like the location, the communications with the host was bad.

I think this hostel is pretty good. Very cheap. Very clean. The location is a bit hard to find. Luckily I asked. Otherwise I couldn't find it. This is on the 4th floor of the building in the picture. Quite convenient. Very close to K11 and the Avenue of Stars. Not bad for one person.

The room was not as beautiful as advertised. When I took a shower, the floor drain was completely blocked, hair was all over it, and my shoes and feet were soaked in dirty water. It was so disgusting. I contacted the hotel at that time and was told that they would not be available for cleaning until around 11 or 12 p.m. , no one came to do the cleaning all night. I stayed for two nights in a row, and the next morning I reminded the hotel to help me clean the floor drain. When I came back around 2:00 in the afternoon, I found that no one was cleaning at all. I contacted the hotel, and the hotel staff asked me to take toilet paper and squeeze it myself, saying that they had already helped me. I mopped the floor, but the garbage in the trash can was still there, the floor was still dirty, and no one cleaned the floor drain. The staff was very arrogant, saying that water overflowed into the room and they wanted to charge me. The room was not cleaned at all. My hair is very short and brown, and it gets clogged as soon as I take a shower. If I had cleaned it before moving in, this wouldn't have happened. When he goes out, he is a commoner, trying to keep things clean. So far, no one has come to clean the hotel. This is the first time I have encountered such a bad hotel.
