The location is great as it’s on the edge of town and across from the ocean with great ocean views. Also opening the windows and hearing the waves while in your room is certainly nice. The design of the property and the room was nice. They put breakfast in the room that includes coffee, juice, croissants, yogurt, meat and cheese. The room came with a sink, refrigerator, stove top for cooking, microwave, a panini press and a pod coffee maker. The bed was too hard for me. Also it was two small beds pushed together and they would split apart in the night and create a canyon that you fall into. There is a bar and restaurant on the first floor, which is nice if you want to stumble from your table up to your bed, but it can be loud if you’re trying to sleep. I didn’t eat at the restaurant so not sure how the food is. Parking at the end of the day can be difficult as the lot is full from the combination of people staying at the hotel and dining at the restaurant. Otherwise plenty of parking. The toilet paper was similar to a natural fiber paper towel, so not soft at all.

Modern boutique apartment hotel right by the ocean. Our room was on the top level and was spotlessly clean and spacious. Has a sitting area with couch and two chairs and a separate kitchenette with a small dining corner. A variety of cold breakfast items were brought to the room. Has small restaurant/bar on ground level. Only minutes away from Horta. Would love to return.

The room was extremely spacious and it was possible to cook something if necessary. When I booked it I thought it was only a room but they were all small apartments with kitchenettes. The hotel is situated by a quiet road and has fantastic views to the sea. There is a snack-bar downstairs where you can have burgers or other quick bites. There's a car parking and it's fast to drive to Horta. A nice place to stay near Horta. I would have liked to have breakfast downstairs in the snack-bar with fresh bread, with service, instead of getting it in the room the evening before.

The actual rooms are exactly what you see in the photos and the views from the superior apartment are out of this world …. We wish we had have stayed longer! Comfortable furnishings and incredible space. Our introduction to the Azores could not have been better! Thanks to the team !!

Excellent hotel for a stay in Horta. A bit off the town but convenient to get on the road for your activities. There is a good restaurant on site, probably the only option in the island for a good hamburger and a cold beer (you may say “really? A hamburger in the Azores?” Yes… after a few days of sea food, you will be craving for one). All items for breakfast were left for us to prepare in the very spacious sea front room and we felt home. It was da delightful experience.

Great apartment with gracious hosts. Fridge filled daily with breakfast items and enough for a picnic. We watched sunrise over Mount Pico every morning. Some road noise.

What a wonderful hotel! I spent 5 wonderful nights listening to the sound of waves against the rocky shoreline located just across the street from my apartment. Lofts Azul Pastel is a family-run hotel with a friendly and efficient staff; when I reported that the shower head leaked a bit, it was replaced immediately. Excellent value for money, the hotel is located just on the outskirts of Horta, with an easy 20 minute walk along the coast into town. If I return to Faial Island, I'll definitely try to stay again at Lofts Azul Pastel. Muito obrigado!

Já foi muito bom em tempos, atualmente creio o que o foco não seja ao nível do restaurante. Porque infelizmente tive uma má experiência, da última vez. Muito tempo à espera da comida (tinham se esquecido do nosso pedido , veio uns primeiros que os outros), veio incompleta a nível dos condimentos que devia vir na hambúrguer, e ao que toca a nível de sabor atualmente nada de especial. Um desastre… Foi reportado ao dono e ao qual da sua simpatia ele tinha razão, como sempre… dizendo que aquilo era um snack bar não era um restaurante, e que também era assim nos outros sítios.. enfim…

La habitación muy bien, debajo tienen un restaurante que estaba cerrado cuando estuvimos, el único inconveniente fue el embutido del desayuno, el jamón dulce de muy baja calidad.
