The food was fantastic but everything is about 6 times the price. The service was great also but in comparison to other 5 star hotels it could of done with some work for example the it was my first time in the spa area and I didn't really get very good directions as to where everything was such as in the Marker hotel I was greeted, given a tour and treated as a king which is what you should expect from first class service.

Definitely recommend the theatre package, bed, breakfast and pre theatre dinner, then pickup by taxi to show, taxi back to hotel also, plus tickets to a show. Will definitely be coming back, staff were so friendly and helpful and even though our room wasn’t air conditioned, it had two fans which we couldn’t have survived without

Yet another stay at my home from home. Check in was a doddle. Food in restaurant on both nights delicious. I highly recommend the chocolate mousse for dessert. Great range of wines to choose from. Friendly efficient waitress’s & waiter. Great coffee and snacks for myself and friends in the lobby. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Happy that they’re cutting back on toiletries that I rarely used. But if you forget anything, a phone call down to reception will fix that. I also recommend the Viking splash tour only a 10 minute walk away on St. Stephen’s Green at the top of Grafton Street & Brunch in Café en Seine Dawson Street. Took in Temple bar & some retail therapy on our way back. I can’t fault this hotel location is perfect. I’m a Dub myself but love a break away in my city centre. Friends had a great time too. We were all rejuvenated after our break away. Thanks Academy, I’ll be back whenever a favourite band visits again.

This is a bit of a mixed bag; perfectly OK to stay for a single night before flying out, but for several days if you have to work, then maybe consider one of the Hiltons near the City centre. The good bits: -Hotel foyer & restaurant has a good layout -Parking is available in the underground car park Food in the restaurant is good For improvement: -Hotel corridors are dingy... carpets need replacing and so too lighting. It's a bit depressing -Rooms are ok (there are refurbished rooms that you might get), but if facing the road - a bit noisy -Aircon terrible... mind of its own -Service in the restaurant is incredibly slow. Took 2hrs to get meal, and of the three that served us, there was no intervention to check nor when we pointed out the wait, any immediate offer to resolve.. and it was undercooked. -The gym is small for a hotel of this size -Location is 10~15min from airport and 30 to the City via the toll tunnel. Above all, the restaurant service needs fixing and more attention made to how long dishes are taking. It's basic stuff really.

Not sure if it is a hotel renovated from a historical building🏨The room is relatively small and has a poor view outside the window. The shower water volume is not big enough. The location is good and the service is basically up to standard. Breakfast is not good for a five-star hotel.

Amazing service at first arrival the doors were opened and I was greeted with very friendly staff who treated me with the utmost respect. The food was delicious as far as fine dining goes. The steak order was mixed up however we were given a new steak and complimentary drinks which was a nice gesture for a small mistake. We had massages and they were the best massages I have ever had in my life. We were given a tour of all the facilities and I really enjoyed my experience overall.

We stayed at The Hendrick Smithfield for a long weekend. The location was perfect for exploring Dublin on foot. The rooms were small but clean and modern and the beds were comfortable. But our absolute highlight was the staff, especially Eibh from the reception. She had the coolest tips for our stay and was super helpful and lovely. She knows all the best places and interesting background information about all of them. Thank you for making our trip even cooler!

The Dylan is the best boutique hotel we have stayed in, we loved everything about it and were so well looked after by Hani and the team. Location was excellent and the breakfast was fantastic. The beds were potentially the comfiest we have stayed in in a hotel. Nothing was overlooked and the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will be back. Ruth

GGuest UserThe Green Hotel exceeded all my expectations. It was centrally located, beautiful, clean, comfortable and the staff could not be more helpful or nice. This was my first trip to Dublin and Jessica at the front desk was wonderful in providing help and assistance. The room was spacious and everything was in proper working order. The breakfast was unbelievable and so delicious. The perfect meal to start the bay exploring Dublin by foot. I highly recommend this hotel.

I reserved a two-night stay at the Staycity Aparthotels Dublin Castle. Due to mechanical issues, my flight to Dublin was cancelled while I was enroute. I had to be rerouted, which delayed my arrival to Dublin by one day. I made sure that I would have a room when I finally got there. The cancellation deadline was a few days before my scheduled arrival date, so there was no way I could've made changes to my reservation by the time my flight was cancelled. I was able to stay one night at this location. However, Staycity refuses to issue a refund for the night I could not stay there although I was stuck in the U.S. through no fault of my own. This is a large company with many properties generating a lot of revenue. Despite reaching out to their customer service, they are unwilling to offer any type of refund or credit, which is beyond disappointing and lacking in courteousness and goodwill. There are a lot of other hotels to choose from. Pick one of them over this brand.

005119140Stayed here last week before a concert, and flying out the day after. We booked two rooms, a family room and a double room for my elderly mother. When we checked in, the air conditioning in the family room was not working. It was one of the hottest days of the year, so we called reception who sent someone up. They couldn’t understand the fault code and said there was nothing they could do so they said they’d bring a portable AC unit. They came back shortly after with a tiny, I mean tiny desk plugin fan as they couldn’t find the AC unit. Unacceptable considering we paid almost €250 for the night for the room. If it wasn’t for the cleaning lady, who made it her business to insist BOTH rooms were moved to another floor with working AC. She was AMAZING. I really don’t recall her name but I think it was Anna - we stayed on Thursday 20th June so hotel management can identify her that way. Reception didn’t really seem interesting but Anna personally did. She arranged for the rooms to be moved and even carried our stuff between all the rooms too! She deserves a raise. Please pass the note to her manager.
PPFThe location is right in the heart of the city, good for people who like clubbing. Heard that Temple bar area could be problematic at late night, but it was never a problem as we returned by 10pm. Many shops and good eateries within 5 min walk. The sightseeing spots are mostly readily accessible on foot.
Hotel staff were friendly and polite. Rooms are clean and towels looks new white. Walls are thick enough for sound proof, even not aware of one flushing in toilet in early morning. Our room faced the internal opening i.e. no view but not noisy. The only shortcoming is no fridge. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe choice of this hotel due to business trip, the room is quite good, there is a gym. Relatively remote, but there are five places to eat around ten minutes, two supermarkets selling wine. The bus stop is opposite the hotel and you can go to the city centre. There is also a Shuttle bus free, but you need to say one day in advance. The clerk's service attitude is very good. There is a restaurant downstairs.
LLuyinuoanlushanIt is a very good large chain star hotel in Ireland, with good management. It is close to the airport and the center of Dublin, a 20-minute drive away. There are many places to eat near the hotel, and there is a supermarket opposite! The breakfast is also very rich and the room is nice, but they don't provide any disposable items! It seems that hotels abroad are like this, so everyone should pay attention to this!
GGuest UserThis is a standard breakfast and board accommodation rather than a hotel per se. The location is centrally located in the city and the main attractions are within walking distance. The room is clean and comfortable however the hotel is in the city centre so if your room is in the basement section of the hotel as I was, it can be a little noisy with passersby however it was not a huge problem for me and slept quite well.
Breakfast was reasonable and the staff are quite friendly. Overall, suitable for few nights stay

GGuest UserOK let me explain before you book!! Harcourt Street is a busy area with noisy nightclubs from Thursday onwards - maybe other days too but not sure about that so if you are not going clubbing etc and you get a room.at the front - you won't get much sleep because its very noisy and then you have the Luas (Tram) that runs all night!! If you are a bad sleeper and get a room at the front - forget about sleep!!! Earpods won't even drown out the noise!! I would definitely stay again though because of location- 5 mins walk to Grafton Street etc... Fast check in - room basic but spotless and had a bath too which was great!! I didn't eat so can't comment!! Staff v polite!!

FFelipeVery comfortable hotel, 15 minutes walk from the center, large and very comfortable rooms, Irish buffet breakfast and very quiet. At first I had my doubts because of the proximity of the train but without problems, you can't hear it. Total satisfaction and from the Dublin Georges Quay Ulster Bank bus stop, it takes about 10 minutes to walk.

GGuest UserThe hotel service is very good, you can check out later. The breakfast buffet is cheap, only semi-self-service, not just pick it up by yourself, you need the help of the service staff. In addition, if you arrive early, you will not be allowed to check in. You need to wait until 3 o'clock. Of course, the last 2 o'clock will allow you to check in. The environment is good, and it is close to the city center and the airport station.
