Riche Hua Hin Hotel

Hua Hin downtown area
The Riche Hua Hin Hotel is located on the Hautstrasse that leads from Cha am to Hua Hin. Since the hotel is a little outside the center (near airport and macro) it is ideal if you have a roller or car. But the hotel also has a private shovel into the city and it also runs the collecting taxi for 10 baths right in front of the hotel. The rooms are large and clean, staff friendly and breakfast buffet is sufficient and fresh. We would come back.

The only thing for which I lowered my rating a little is the location, quite decently from the center, but if you have a bike, there are no problems. Otherwise everything is fine. Clean, spacious room, friendly staff.
Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin

Had an amazing stay at the Movenpick. Rooms were spacious and service was awesome. Staff were amazing and food at both restaurants was really nice. The only negatives were; the hotel is not close to town or restaurants and the free shuttle only had 3 time slots per day into town (2pm, 7pm and 10pm). Our deluxe pool view room was amazing & had all the amenities one needed. Loved the little details that the housekeepers did to the room (essential oils each day in oil burner, closing curtains at night and a little tidy up of rubbish each afternoon) nothing was an issue. Loved that they also had a little buggy that could take you roud the resort if you didn’t want to walk from restaurants to rooms. If you want a relaxing quiet time get away, the movenpick is a great choice.

The hotel is an about 5-10mins from hua hin night market or major shopping centres. So you’ll need to commute back and forth if you want to do some shopping or for meals outside of the hotel but taxis ain’t easy to get during busy hours. We booked two rooms with garden view. The rooms felt a bit old and our boys got really bad mosquito bites all over their face, arms and legs (So beware if you are travelling with kids). There were many activities for kids (badminton, swimming, mini football, kids room) but you do need to queue for your turn as the hotel was busy. Breakfast was buffet styled and the food was ok (but nothing too spectacular) with plenty of local and western options. The spa was very good. I had a deep tissue massage and I just felt so relaxed and slept through half of the treatment. Overall, a well established resort in hua hin with a more traditional or old-school feel to it. If you are looking for a more modern resorts with newer facilities, then this may not be the place for you.

The location is 5 kilometers away from the downtown area, so getting in and out is a bit inconvenient. It's very close to the sea, there are no people on the beach, you can play as much as you want! There are 3 or 4 swimming pools and a small children's playground. There is a small shop next to it, the pasta is super delicious! You can also rent a motorcycle, it is very convenient to get in and out of the motorcycle. I didn’t eat breakfast, I bought something on 7-11, and the kitchen can cook. Personally like quiet and leisure, I still like it, it feels like a holiday. The TV in the room can watch 3D movies, and there are many CDs, including Disney animation movies that children love to watch. There is a problem with the hardware. Both air conditioners are broken, one leaks water and the other sprays ice in the middle of the night.
