So people want honest reviews, entertainment staff asked me to leave a review on our last day but I didn't want to bad mouth whilst we was still there so wanted to wait until we got home yesterday. I don't want to boycott but we can't be the only ones who's had bad experience with this hotel So we arrived at the horror hotel (Mirage World) around 1.30AM on 27.04.24 - first impressions was OK- although very dark and quiet inside reception, however the night staff and lady checking us in was lovely and chatty. Next is where we realise this hotel doesn't suit an all inclusive accommodation! There was no food available for late comers, we was offered a coffee but us and 3 other passengers who also got off our transfer just wanted food after a long day travelling. We was told we could buy something in the on site shop - not much there bar crisps and chocolate, no shops outside the hotel were open! We found out later in the week that soup kitchen opens at 1am but apparently we missed it. Anyways next up, the rooms - we were changed rooms 3 times! So the first room (3406), we booked a double room and was given a twin room - not great for a couple on holiday celebrating their anniversary.. oh also there was no lights working apart from a very dimmed bathroom mirror light - this is where I noticed the door handle falling off, meaning there was no privacy, also the toilet flush did not work! Considering the time, we decided to try sleep, which was awful as we kept falling through the gap of 2 singles put together (they were pretty much mattresses rather than beds!). We went down to reception the next morning to complain to be told house keeping could just put the beds next to each other, I said no due to the flush, lights and door handle also being faulty. They said they'd change us rooms the next morning. So this now being Sunday the 28th April after 2 awful nights sleep, we were moved to the second room - 3409.. which was 3 doors down from where we were. So this room at first view was OK, it had a double bed, door and flush was working, all I had to do was ask reception to replace the bulbs in the room as they were clearly on their way out - staff completed the request. So this is where things really started to get bad.. we had gone out after tea/entertainment, come back and brought some food outside the hotel as again, nothing after 9pm as we was still not told about this so say soup kitchen! Anyhow, we returned to room 3409, started to eat our food, got into bed where we both started to itch, we were then greated with a BED FULL of ants!! They were absolutely everywhere, all over the bed, the pillows the floor, the side units EVERYWHERE! Now my partner is a manager of a kitchen and this is definitely something Environmental Health Officers would not be too happy with, it would be a closure or as this is an infestation of insects (including cockroaches in corridors) at least be fumigated- we know neither fumigation or level shut down did not h
