Great!!!! Perfect location across from the beach, easy parking, good food options around, safe area, quiet, easy to walk everywhere, older building but we like that style! We had an issue with our bathroom around midnight and staff was immediately available, ready to help and assist and fix the problem, great communications. We had a great time there and we would come again, happily!

Nobody works the front desk, the whole time we're here. Remote communication only, check-in code given over the phone. Didn't get WiFi password until the 2nd day. We only stayed 2 days. The worst thing is we woke up after the first night and realized we didn't have any towels in the room. No front desk person to ask for towels. When we finally got caught up with the cleaning lady, we asked for towels, we got no apology for not having any towels. She spoke perfect English just in case anybody's wondering. Shower had no pressure and barely gets warm. There were some OK things, but do you really want to hear them at this point?

I was pleased with the quaint little apartment; it had a full-size stove! Right across from our peaceful Pacific! No host check-in was convenient and quick. Definitely will return.

What I liked about the property was the location. It was just steps away from the beach across from a small park with grassy areas for the dogs, a fitness course and small playground for children. The pier was close by as well as a few restaurants. The unit I rented was a one-bedroom apartment with full kitchen, sofa bed and rollaway. The staff were friendly and helpful. What I didn't like about the property was the entry door did not feel secure because it did not have a deadbolt and the door was mainly glass. The front window had a torn screen. The bathroom window had no screen. The kitchen was not equipped with eating utensils other than two teaspoons and one steak knife. Worst of all, the unit I stayed in was the lower floor of two stories. I could hear EVERYTHING from above: the rolling suitcase dragged through every room; shoes walking around; and conversation and activities in the bathroom. Made for sleepless nights!

Really liked the location! No sign of wifi network. Water hot enough for shower but not for bath.

Perfect location, directly across from the ocean. Great to walk to restaurants.

We came to imperial beach to go to a show and visit my son. Had a wonderful time . The staff was pleasant and helpful.

The hotel doesn’t have air conditioning however they do have signs posted in their lobby and their website therefore for the people complaining of no ac, it’s something you didn’t catch. However they do have a fan in the kitchen, another in the bedroom and a rotating fan you can connect to an outlet. Also if you open the windows it’s a nice breeze you get. They have a patio that’s lit up at night and an area with vending machines. The people in the office are super sweet, the place is a block away from the beach and a couple blocks from the pier with shops, local eateries, coffee shops within walking distance. Pet friendly! For the price you can’t complain! It’s such a cute place and super welcoming!

Extremely difficult to log in to internet - Tried to log in to cable TV many times and never did get the TV to work - ****** woke us up at 3:00 AM. They wanted to charge me for parking when I didn't have a car. Very small and hot room with no air conditioning or ventilation. Coffee machine in room only had one serving and was terrible.

Never imagined a hotel room without AC or so uncomfortable. Hot, muggy and so not comfortable!! Floors are brick, checking out ASAP, going to hotel across the street. This is worse than a Baja motel room. It even had the mosquitos biting you at night.

We asked for handicap accommodations- didn’t get it. Except for parking. Door was broken was taped together with shipping tape.

Everything was great and went even better when we arrived in the room. Everything was better than expected. I loved the view, the service was quick and easy, short walk to the beach and the room was aesthetically pleasing.

Great rooms very comfortable could use air conditioners in the rooms, takes too long to cool down at night after it has been warm any at all

I loved the gazebo, the view, and being at the center of IB.
