An oasis of relaxation capturing real Tuscany feeling in the hotel and around it! Villa Cesi is a wonderful newly renovated hotel located in the in quiet surroundings of Impruneta, a short 20 min drive to Florence. The outdoor area of the hotel is very well maintained - large parking area, lots of private jacuzzi pools in the small green park and a superb swimming pool with confortable and cool sunloungers where we relaxed during hot August days. There is also a large terrase well fitted for parties and events. Electric bikes are available for rent and we used them to explore the charming surroundings. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and air-conditionair worked super well. Coffee and refreshing drinks are available at the bar, which are also served by the pool. In the restaurant, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. Breakfast is plentiful and lunch & dinner a la carte, with delicious tuscany dishes. The hotel staff is pleasantly friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful, relaxing and romantic stay there and I will totally recomand this hotel for anyone who wants to explore Tuscany area of Chianti, from Florence to Siena. Do not be turned down by previous reviews, they were written before extensive renovation done this year.

I liked everything about the hotel but if you don’t have transportation it is almost imposible to get there by public transportation and the taxis can charge you what ever they feel . We paid from the city to the hotel 30 euros but from the hotel to the city was 80 euros. We weren’t sure as to why . Will be a good idea if the hotel had a shuttle at least to get the guests to the closest bus station which wasn’t that far but difficult with the luggage and hill the hotel is situated. If not for the transportation issue I will rate as a 5 star. Restaurant breakfast and dinner very good .

Horrible stay, cant believe it.. - Aircondition not working in 35 degrees (they didnt even inform us at check-in) - Fridges dont work - restaurant closed - Safe dont work - Things are broken everywhere - Dirty pool - Pool shower broken so People go in without showering first - Really bad and empty breakfest - Vending machine broken, so no way to access vold water - Not enough chairs at The pool It seems like it used to be a great 4 star hotel many many years ago, but now it cant be more than 2 stars. My best guess is that its going bankrupt and they are trying to save money. And thats not even everything…

Perhaps we were unlucky staying here while this area was experiencing very hot temperatures. But it wasnt a great stay. The manageress was lovely and seemed to be trying hard. Her English was good and I am sorry to be critical of a hotel where she has tried so hard but it was poor. On arrival we found out the chef had left with no likely replacement so no evening meals and we were in the middle of nowhere, not in Impruneta. The air conditioning had just been fixed so our room took some time to reach the desired temperature which is not unacceptable. The room safe was broken beyond repair. The shower often fell down as it was attached by one screw in an oversized hole. The pool outside had no shade. On one hot day we tried to find shade in the garden and were badly bitten. Overnight on the third night the airconditioning broke for the whole hotel and it was a very very uncomfortable night. We were promised all day that it would be fixed that day. Just after 6.15 pm when we realised it wouldnt be fixed that day we left. Despite having paid for four days we could only take two. The thought of staying overnight in a heatwave in a room with no air conditioning was too much. The hotel has undoubtedly seem better days.

Io ed una mia amica abbiamo pernottato tre notti , ci sembrava la soluzione migliore per la vicinanza con Firenze; in effetti questa è stata l’unica cosa positiva! In hotel pessimo tutto a partire dalla scomodità del letto che si affossava e mi ha fatto aumentare il mal di schiena, proseguendo con una cosa che ritengo gravissima e cioè la mancata pulizia del bagno (e quindi della camera) per tre giorni, venivano sostituiti solo gli asciugamani e rifatto il letto (male) ma il bagno rimaneva sporco! Cena e colazioni monotone e sempre uguali, alla richiesta di un po’ di verdura ci è stato risposto che non ve n’era!! E, cosa assolutamente sgradevole, venivamo sollecitate alla porta per scendere a cena ad un determinato orario!! Capisco che in alcuni periodi ci sia scarsità di personale ma, sarebbe più opportuno allora tenere chiusa la struttura! Non ci torneremo di sicuro.

L’hotel è situato in mezzo al verde e circondato da un parco molto bello. È comodo come base per spostarsi e visitare le città toscane più belle, nel caso nostro Pisa, Siena e Lucca. Il personale è cortese, le camere dignitose. Quello che lascia un po’ a desiderare è la cucina: pochissima scelta di piatti, anche se preparati bene. Buono il prezzo. Roberto55

Festa di compleanno presso questa magnifica struttura! Nuova gestione, staff cordiale , gentile e molto professionale, soprattutto Federica che ha organizzato la mia festa ! Avevamo una sala privata , ambiente stupendo con poltrone di classe e comode ! Ciliegina sulla torta il camino, molto curioso di vederlo acceso in inverno. Nella sala era allestito un buffet privato ricco e con ottimi piatti sia caldi che freddi ! Tutto eccezionale!! Ci rivedremo in estate per l’aria brace e piscine !

Dopo 4 notti non mi hanno ancora cambiato le lenzuola, nessun rimpiazzo di shampoo e/o bagnoschiuma.. Sono andato al supermercato a comprarmi la carta igienica in quanto non più messa dopo il secondo giorno.. Frigo bar vuoto!!! Questo è inammissibile in una struttura a 4 stelle...
