Strategic location to the nearest tourist spot like concubine lane and padang ipoh. The room were newly renovated. But got no fridge. Friendly staff. Parking space were quite small. Overall nice stay

The newly renovated room is clean and nice. Only at the third night, our toilet drain is starting to get stink. For breakfast, food is simple, nothing special, but the restaurant’s view on the 12th floor is excellent. Staffs are generally friendly.

Good location with great staff, the room is new renovated. Maybe need to give more option for breakfast menu.

I used to stay at Cititel previously as they have proper parking space at the basement. But it turn me down on few occasions due to cleanliness issue & i start choosing other Hotel elsewhere. Recently I decided to give it a try/one more chance & i was surprised to find out that The Hotel has gone through some renovations/refurbishments. Overall I’m satisfied but due to limited time, was not able to explore more. Welcome drinks provided at Level 12 .. bfast did not try due to early check outs. I will consider to stay here again.

Location-wise, it is strategic in the heart of Ipoh, with easy access to all local dishes, Western cuisine, and the famous Concubine Lane. A minor drawback is that we get an unpleasant smell in the room.

Affordable Stay Near Ipoh Old Street. Location: This hotel’s location is excellent! It’s right near Ipoh Old Street, making it easy to explore local cuisine. If you’re arriving by train, this place is a fantastic choice – just a few minutes’ walk from the station. Ambiance: The overall ambiance is decent. However, I found the rooms a bit small, which might not be ideal for family travel. Breakfast: Unfortunately, the hotel doesn’t provide breakfast. But don’t worry! There are plenty of nearby tea shops and eateries where you can find delicious food. In summary, if you’re looking for an affordable stay with great access to local food and transportation, this hotel is worth considering! I hope this review helps! Enjoy your time in Ipoh! 😊

Everything was good, except for the parking. The basement parking is too small. I wish to offer a suggestion to the hotel: families with children or elderly members usually need a small light during sleeping time, which is convenient for them when they need to go to the bathroom. I hope the hotel can take note of this. However, it is still a good hotel. We will come back if we visit Ipoh again. Booking through Trip.com was beneficial. It's cheaper, more convenient, and easy to use. Overall, I'm still happy with the booking.

Walking distance to Concubines Lane, Restoran Thean Chun and Birch Memorial Clock Tower. Refundable deposit of RM50, 2 room cards only can access your floor level. Limited free parking space for hotel guests. No hook in the toilet. Water pressure ok. No swimming pool. There's a 7-11 at lobby. Water dispenser at every floor, iron and hairdryer in room.

Had a great stay overall! The only downside was limited parking in the basement, but they’ve opened up another lot behind the mosque/church—it’s a bit of a walk, and the road can get busy with fast-moving traffic. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, especially since I was traveling alone and my package included two meals. The attentive staff even packed one up for me to take with me! 👏🏻 My room had a window with a beautiful view of Kinta Riverwalk at night. Plus, there’s a 7-Eleven right next to the lobby, a real lifesaver if you forget something! 🫢

Fast service, book during weekday.. 23-25January not bz, lucky me so i can get early check in, friendly staff Nice greeting.. Nice view Location strategic.. eventho 25th is Thaipusam , we are not so effected by the sound near the hotel.. No swimmingpool.. so the hotel just for us to rest . Car park is very limited.. This room doesnt have mini refrigerator.. so u guys must read what is provided to you ok.. Overall is good Keep it up 👍

The hotel is fairly new and good for visit to lost world of Tambun. However, only Need more parking locations.
