I had read the reviews from Google Maps and some are true.
Talk about cons:
The basement car park and the road conditions are not really good. Damp and holes, air circulation nothing, ladder going up ground floor is narrow.
There are ants in the room and quite some.
Pros:
Service is quick, seemed like 80's 4 stars hotel.
You have all the facilities, but old and not really do the maintenance, useable but some not in good condition.
I was here for the King-sized bed which seemed to be cheaper.

This is not my first time here..Room is big and clean but the amenities is not complete, have to ask for tooth brush & face towel.. Staff is friendly except the bellboy especially the tall white man, he didnt offer to help guest with luggage and kind of arrogant.. As for room service this hotel is still in covid era i suppose.. the food came in container and i order cantonese noodles it came in a small plastic container like u ordered from grab i just laugh and figure how to eat the noodles with the gravy..

The hotel is about 10 minutes from the city centre. I take Grab to go there from Ipoh Parade it cost me about RM8. The location is not sorrounded with shop that is why i go to eat and shop a few thing first at Ipoh Parade.
The check in was smooth and no deposit required. The room was clean eventhough the furniture was old. I love the comfy bed and it was king bed. The aircond was good. The water flow is good. Also got Sejadah for muslim. Free drinking water.
My room not includes breakfast so in the morning i just walk in to the resto and paid RM41. I took nasi lemak with sambal paru but sambal paru was salty. Not many variation of food but overall was okay. Got fresh fruit and fresh original fruit juice.
Check out at 12.45 because my appointment at hospital was 2pm. I want to thank to the recioptionist because they dont call my room to urge to check out at 12. Thank you for your consideration 😁.

Dated hotel maybe can revise the price. Toilet with stains. Refurbish needed. Musty carpet. Location is central in town. Breakfast spread is minimal.

Hi, I wanted to leave review during checkout but forgot about it. Checkin experience was okay.. waited 5-10 minutes as my ID cannot be read. Idk why. Then we come into the room, the room is not as spacious as i imagine(opt for premier room) .. the door was really hard to close.. the sink faucet in-the toilet is loose.. the closet door seems to be about to broke.. i think because the hotel is old.. and as you can see in the picture.. there are stain on the curtain.. but the view is nice.. view of the city. Anyway its hard for me to recommend a stay here because I can find a better stay for cheaper price.

Hotel Impiana staff especially the reception is so helpful. I was travelling with my elderly and the staff really help on assisting my parent to our room. The room is spacious and got all the necessity we need.

The swimming pool isn't well maintained. There is some grass growing in the pool. The pool floor is slippery, not sure when was the last time they wash/brush the floor

Had a pleasant stay. Anyway this hotel need some refurbishment. Its an old hotel of course bit worn out here and there. Ants everywhere especially on the table. Above all its a decent hotel.
