The staff was very friendly, helpful, responsive, good communication. The location walkable from the train station—not super-close but close enough. A very nice breakfast was served for $10 with a beautiful view of the sea.
Not so good was more or less clean room —the bathtub could use a scrub, pillowcases, too. One bed was covered in plaster dust, fortunately; I needed just one bed. The bathtub was claw foot with no plug for a bath and no showers curtain thus water cleanup on the floor necessary. The tub was hard for me to get in and out of. (I also found the room decor chaotic—sequin bedcovers making it not a comfy place to sit, and more. I can imagine someone else may like it.)
So not the end of the world but because I’m older I’m not sure I’d stay there again.
