Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach/Oceanfront

******* totally messed up my reservation. Steve at the front desk tried to get it straightened out but the person on the phone was not understanding what the issue was. Steve gave me a room with a better view and lower rate. My mom is handicapped and due to *******’s mistake the accessible room was not available. The room we were given was very spacious and the staff found us a shower chair so she could bathe. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. The building was very clean and bright. They were upgrading the pool and patio area and it’s going to be beautiful. I would not hesitate to book and stay there again.

Swimming pool was not up and running but given the weather, understandable. Excellent location and very quiet. Breakfast okay. I had a king room with partial ocean view but really a full ocean view. Very nice.

Bathroom not properly cleaned between guests. Still had hair in the shower from previous guest. Over powering smell of wet/moldy carpets that were attempted to be cleaned. The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional.

The option of digital key was very nice and I figured it out quickly. The room was immaculate. The reception personnel was always there and friendly. I liked the little shop next to the reception where I could buy snacks for the night (I arrived late). There was always hot coffee and hot tea behind the reception, which was nice, also, in the room, there was a coffee maker for the early morning hours. I got up early every morning and ran along the beach for 2 miles. Checkout was easy, no waiting line, just a click on the phone.

Great area and beautiful sunrises from the beach. Lots of healthy options within walking distance.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I found it to be satisfactory. However, I was displeased to discover that parking incurred a daily fee of $20, and the layout of the parking lot made it challenging to maneuver in and out. The intermittent unavailability of parking was quite bothersome. The complimentary breakfast was pleasant, although I believe a wider selection of options is necessary. The exclusively pork-based breakfast offerings may not cater to all guests. The staff at the tiki bar displayed unfriendliness, in contrast to the cordial and welcoming front desk team. I particularly appreciated the well-equipped coffee station. Access to snacks was convenient, and housekeeping services were commendable. Nonetheless, the recurring issue of my overflowing toilet proved to be an inconvenience. Overall, I am inclined to recommend the hotel.

This trip was more of a medical necessity but the hotel itself was provided the peaceful environment needed. Steve, front desk manager, makes sure every thing is perfect

Enjoyed our stay greatly. Staff was excellent. Will definately be back. Only drawback would be the $18 parking fee.

My only complaint is the room smelled like fresh paint. Everything is brand new but that very strong smell didn’t allow me to have a restful sleep. It’s also bad for one’s health.
