Hotels near Kantor RW 16/Taman Baca in Jakarta

Bed is not the same with the reservation, then air conditioner is not really good. But the location near the food culinary.

Location is good. Room is not really clean. Over all so nice to be here. Recommended.

I have been coming here since 2016 and Im writing from the room right now. The staff has gone above and beyond any other hotel here to make my stay comfortable AND doing so without charging additional fees. Did i mention affordable....Sure i've read some of the other reviews and sure its not a perfect place for some but if you are like me and like a quiet place (except for the Mosques chanting but thats everywhere) and low key base of operations, then this is the place for you! Ill be back here....

The most wonderful vacation! Luxury all the way and SERVICE that you won’t find anywhere else. We were taken to our own private dock by boat upon arrival. Our room was set up with fresh guacamole, welcome drinks and they had made pillows with each of our 3 kids’ names monogrammed on them! Personal touches like this will not be forgotten. If you look at the photos i uploaded, it feel like we are not in Ritz Carlton, a brand that sharply promise its excellent services. I dont know what happen to them, but check in only 2 desk, and another spot of check in at very crowd q as well. Guest just waiting like in a bus terminal and while seeing check in process took 30 minutes avg per one guest. Staff promise to take care my room key, but very surprise she only made a statement and never appear to follow up on her promise to me. They just horrible not at the right time, new year holiday season. I just get into my room at 4PM and still without room key, so i am waiting there without any room light.

The hotel condition is fine, rooms are not so big (but enough) with minimalist design. The downside is the tube-bathroom…I really hate it. Too small and the material (it’s made from resin I guess) somehow doesn’t make me comfortable. Also the shampoo and conditioner dispenser needs to be pushed quote hardly. Staffs are friendly. BUT the SOP for pandemics situation is quite loose. When I checked-in, other guest come to the the desk (from other side) not wearing the mask properly (he used it ON THE CHIN). Tried to remind him, he didn’t care. I was disappointed that the reception didn’t anything and still served him as if it very commonly happens. Also found guests smoking and chatting (of course no mask on) at the outdoor restaurant with no social distancing (I can tell they weren’t families). So in conclusion: hotel is fine, strategic location and worth the price yet if u worry abt covid19, don’t stay here.

Plus side: In the lobby, they have artistic art gallery. Then I know that they will hold art exhibition. If this situation happened in early pandemic, I trully understand. But these situation happened after ppkm loosened up, means occupation rate also rised up. When I checked in... There was two ministry held the event there. I asked the occupancy with one situation, they said full booked for that day and tomorrow. So forgive me that I can't tolerate these things: -When I checked in, the key machine was broke. So the concierge assist me to open the door manually. The machine finally can be operated view hours later. -The tv wasn't working. Needed to call engineering first. Then the exhaust in front of the door was loud. Already fix but still loud. The engineering said when the temperature gows slow it became like this. -They only provide 1 mineral bottle at first. Need to ask for abother one. -Water keetle was leak. The water I poured soak into the tray. -They only provide one towel. I found the hotel provided 1 toothbrush set, but not towel. And the towel...wow...is it 4 stars hotel? When I ask another towel, they gave me the proper kne. Ah.. They also didn't provide toilet mat. I had to request it and it also didn't come. -Their idea to put shampoo and soap in the vanities completely blow my mind. So when we shower, we need to go out to pump the shampoo and soap? What are you trying to do? Dear Grandkemang, Imho, I think there won't be a problem if you focus on the goverment who will spend their annual budget, moreover on their year end budget. Their need to spend it, so maybe they won't complain like me for the service and situation. But for people like me... Apologies for being hars, but this situation make me never want to stay in here again... Except the goverment pay me for that.

Meh hotel, but I suppose you get what you pay for. The room layout is weird, especially the shower and toilet cubicle, I don't understand why they can't just build a normal shower area. Aircond wasn't cool either, and the noise from the main street is annoying. In front of the hotel, every night, there's this people selling stuff gathering crowds which make access to the hotel feel a bit unsafe due to the crowd. In the end, it's a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for.
