Grand Hyatt Jeju

The old bathrobes were taken away after cleaning, but no new ones were provided. Out of two wardrobes, only one had hangers. The TV screen mirroring app was not functional. What exceeded expectations was the soap provided at each basin. The view was also very good.

Perhaps due to the hotel's large size and high number of guests, the lobby was incredibly noisy. I can't imagine what it would be like during peak check-in times. 2. Luggage storage was quite a distance from the check-in counter, and there was no coordination between staff, forcing guests to communicate the transfer themselves. 3. The check-in staff's service attitude was extremely poor, their professionalism was terrible, and they were incredibly impolite! 3.1 When filling out the check-in form, the explanation was incomplete. They didn't proactively ask if I needed parking, if I had luggage, which floor breakfast was on, or that room service required scanning a QR code instead of a physical menu, etc. They said absolutely nothing. 3.2 The Grand Hyatt is quite large, divided into Tower 1 and 2, and low and high floors. The staff didn't directly point out directions or arrange someone to guide me to the elevator. Even when I went the wrong way, walked around unnecessarily, and came back to reconfirm, they pointed at the room number and asked, 'Do you recognize this number?' 3.3 They were arrogant and impatient. In addition to the aforementioned terrible service, when booking the room, I had requested one of the beds to have a firmer mattress. The staff member responded with an exaggerated look of surprise, saying it was impossible to change the mattress, as if the hotel never provides such a service. 4. The bathroom in the room was not clean enough. There were a few hairs in the sink, and a towel that hadn't been used yet (meant for the bathroom floor) was hanging on the bathtub with an unknown residue on it. In summary, the overall service at Hyatt Jeju was extremely disappointing! Such service completely fails to match the current price, and it made me, as a customer, disappointed with the brand. Also, the staff member's name was Heidi. This kind of service absolutely warrants a complaint.

The room was spacious with a great layout. I'll definitely stay here again next time, it's so convenient. The city view room I booked also had a fantastic view, and you can even see the ocean from the 8th-floor pool, so there's no need to spend extra for a sea view room.

I had to brace myself and flush it down. Even more outrageous, there was a dead insect stuck to the spare slippers. Although they were replaced after I contacted them, the hygiene experience was severely compromised. * **Lack of Family-Friendly and Personalized Service:** Traveling with a child, there were no children's slippers provided in the room proactively. Despite clearly noting it was our "anniversary" during booking and check-in, the hotel offered no greetings or well wishes throughout our stay. Standard 5-star services like turndown service were also missing, making it feel very perfunctory. * **Poor Room Temperature Control:** Although the room was spacious, the air conditioning's cooling was clearly insufficient. The room temperature never dropped, making it feel stuffy and uncomfortably warm. * **Inaccurate Transportation Information:** The hotel informed us that the last bus to the shopping street was at 10:30 PM, but in reality, services had already stopped by 10:30 PM. The last bus was actually around 10:00 PM, and this misinformation disrupted our travel plans. **Highlights and Redeemable Qualities:** * **Hardware and Location:** The room size was indeed spacious with great views. The pool views were fantastic, offering both great photo opportunities and an enjoyable experience. * **Convenience and Communication:** The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to dining, shopping, and entertainment. There are many Chinese-speaking staff, so daily communication was seamless, and the room service response time was also timely. If you prioritize a spacious room, an incredible pool, and a prime location, it could still be an option. However, at this price point, the current hygiene standards and attention to detail in service are simply unsatisfactory. I hope management can genuinely focus on improving room cleanliness and basic services.

I don't know what makes Korean women think they're so superior? Most of the Korean women at this hotel were quite haughty. The room itself was large, clean, and hygienic, and the location was excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The breakfast selection was decent. The lobby was a bit messy, but the staff at the entrance were very friendly. There's also a shuttle bus to Baojian Road, which is convenient.

Before arriving, I was quite concerned about the extra bed situation, but after repeated communication and confirmation, we checked in smoothly. The room was incredibly spacious, and everything was just right. We were on a lower floor, the 11th, which I actually liked because it offered a perfect view of the 8th-floor pool and also a nice city view. The area is super convenient, with all the food and drinks we wanted just around the corner. The shuttle bus was free, and I didn't encounter any discriminatory or rude staff members.

Pros: The room was indeed spacious, the facilities were new, and the gym was fantastic! I tried the sauna, and while it wasn't huge, the experience was quite good. Overall, the service was also decent. Cons: Perhaps to make the rooms larger, the hallways were a bit narrow and not very well-ventilated. Stepping out of the elevator into the hallway, there was an unpleasant odor. Possibly due to the high floor and the large number of guests, the lobby, entrance, and elevator area were very noisy, which didn't give off a relaxed, vacation-like vibe.

Pleasantly surprised! It feels like booking through Trip.com always guarantees me great perks. This time, I booked a 65 sqm club room at the Grand Hyatt, but got upgraded to a 130 sqm suite. What a wonderful and unexpected start to my trip! The hotel is super convenient, with a convenience store on the 4th floor. There's a pool on the 8th floor, and even a shallow area perfect for little ones to splash around in. My baby had an absolute blast!

The room was spacious with a great sea view from the window. The location is excellent, right across from Lotte Duty-Free and just a 5-minute walk to Shilla Duty-Free. There's also an Olive Young nearby. Highly recommend!
