The location of the hotel is a few minutes walk from the old town. The service is also very good from the door to the front desk. It's just that it's inconvenient to drink when the minibar is empty. In addition, there is dust on the bedside counter, and hygiene is not very good.

Good was absolutely fantastic. So was the service. Particularly Mr. Saleh at the reception, Mr. Anan at the restaurant and Mr. Mohammed in the room cleaning. Absolutely wonderful. The building is beautiful but you can tell it’s hard to upkeep such a historic place. In my room the lights inside the closet didn’t go out and the handheld shower wasn’t working abd 4 days after I reported it they had done nothing about it. Turndown service is a nice detail. TV has not many channels and needs to have access to Netflix, YouTube and other more modern options. Finally it’s all a little chaotic on Shabbat. Nevertheless the staff made it all worthwhile and the place is a true historical landmark with value of its own.

i was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, the rooms were very nice, the toiletries top notch not only for Israel but for worldwide, the porch of our was extra large with a beautiful view and very comfortable lounging chairs and ottoman, the complimentary wine in the room was delicious, housekeeping was very on top of their job and room was very clean. the food was my biggest surprise, what a huge variety, and how tasteful, both in presentation, but most importantly in taste, both during the weekend and during the week, we will without a doubt return when we are there next. if you are thinking between waldorf and this, don't think, definitely stay here.

This is a great hotel if you are looking to stay in Palestine, but sadly if you are looking to visit Bethkehem and other attractions in Israel, its a difficult task to find. The hotel and staff were fabulous. If I was to return, I would consider staying again. There was easy accessible underground parking with rlevators dorectly to the rooms.

The location is excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. In fact, breakfast was excellent as well, a delightful buffet. However, the building has seen better days and is way overdue for renovation. The bathroom, in particular, was dilapidated, and the room itself, basic in the extreme. And be forewarned that there is really no parking anywhere nearby - unless you have an app for Jerusalem street parking, and for that you need an Israeli identity card.

Ten minutes from the old city of Jerusalem, it is very convenient to walk to Jaffa Gate and walk five minutes from the shopping street. I really enjoyed my stay at the Cinema Hostel. i think it has been one of my fave hostels to stay at. I had a private room. I think mine (room 12) was one of the more spacious ones as i had a sneaky look at the one next to me and mine seemed a little bit bigger with a better layout. However the room isn’t big to begin with but it is a hostel and does the job. Bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was good but the shower itself is also small. However the best part of this place is the vibe. The staff and volunteers are fantastic. They make an effort to get to know you and are very friendly and helpful. The common area is set up well and allows for easy interaction with other guests. Made friends with a lovely English couple and we ended up traveling to Masada together! Breakfast is good. Eggs, breads, some salads, cereals etc. The added bonus of being able to make your own pancakes was great! It’s in a good location. Not far from a mini mart and food options. About a 15 min walk from Jaffa Gate and the Old City. I would def recommend this place. Just make sure you do the online check in if you are arriving after 11pm otherwise i heard that they don’t let you in! Near Jerusalem City, 20min walk from the old town. In the women's room, I found that there was little room between the capsules, difficulty to pass through the corridor when someone looks in his business. 2 showers and 2 functional toilets for at least 40 capsules(I didn't count). Otherwise well-sonic capsule and clean hotel. I recommend

Located in the new town, about 15 minutes walk to the old town. If you walk while looking at the cityscape, you will arrive soon, so you don't feel like you're walking that far. The hotel (apartment type) has the same facilities as a hotel, so I was able to stay comfortably. Breakfast will be taken at a nearby hotel.
