Benvenuto Hotel & Conference Centre

I can see that this was a great place to stay in its heyday but has declined over time. Positives are it’s location, friendly and accommodating staff (which one would expect in the hospitality industry) and a reasonable price. Negatives that I experienced were that the place was well worn, tired and in need of some investment. Examples are, worn carpets, hole in the dining room table cloth, frayed bath towels, basin not draining quickly due to matted hair in the strainer (fixed same day), broken suitcase rack (fixed same day), evidence of a dampness problem in the plaster on the wall near the window, extractor fan in the bathroom is dark brown with years of dust on the grill in the ceiling, no Barman on duty - was served by reception staff though. Apart from a buffet breakfast there are no meal facilities at all, not even for a light snack. I have to wonder whether this is actually a hotel or just a conference venue with accommodation. If it is indeed a hotel then this is definitely not the four star establishment despite having four stars next to their name on their website. Would I stay here again? Possibly, but only because it’s convenient & I know what to expect.

Booked a paraplegic-friendly hotel room and it was not clean and well prepared for our arrival. We were told that there was a meeting in the room during the week and the room was not set up - the twin single beds were in the bathroom and the room was not cleaned. The hotel staff gave us another room to accomodate us but it was not paraplegic-friendly so my friend could not use the bathroom and had to use the other room's bathroom (they subsequently removed the beds so my friend could use the bathroom). During the early part of the morning, around 4am, my friend did not have access to the other room's bathroom because the passage doors seemed to be jammed (not sure if it was locked or not) and there was no one around or at reception to ask for assistance. I'm not sure why the room was listed as available if it was not ready for use. Make sure the room is available for customer occupation. Physically go into the room to check and not solely rely on the system to check availability. Have staff work shifts so at least one person is at the front desk at all times that will be able to assist customers. I'd appreciate some sort of compensation 😡

The door opening mobile phone provided by the hotel should be fully charged in advance to avoid the embarrassment that the door cannot be opened when entering the door.

The tranquility is everywhere, and the small sparrows are all complete. Safe and quiet. Surrounded by clean nature, it is easy to relax and easy to deepen. Diet has better service.

This homestay is nice and has a swimming pool. The kitchen is open plan and only has a microwave. Chinese food cannot be made. The landlord is an old couple. Quite kind. Housewives like to talk. Her husband, Gary, was an editor of a motorcycle magazine, but the magazine failed. Provide bread slices, milk, 4 kinds of fruits. Stayed two nights and was very quiet. There are no buses in South Africa and it can't be too dangerous to take them. It's not expensive to use UBER to go out. 36 rand taxi to the nearby shopping center.

This hotel has lived 3 times. The quality of the environment and the interior and exterior of the room, did not have to say, very good. The beer cola in the refrigerator is free of charge and is free to drink. The path inside the high ball is free to go. But very long. Go back and forth at least 3 kilometers. The only problem is that the breakfast is all Western. Coffee black tea bread, bacon ham, etc., only mushrooms and fried tomatoes. . . The service can't talk about anything, the reception desk is very friendly and polite. Going to the spa center, there is only a sauna room, no big pool, or a bathtub in the room.
