The Capital on the Park

"Facilities: Excellent, with a swimming pool and a gym. The hotel is beautiful, safe, and clean. The front desk service was excellent. The breakfast was rich and healthy. A highly recommended hotel."

Hyde Johannesburg Rosebank

"Great hotel, great staff all around; from the welcoming at the door, to the golf cart that takes you to the Rosebank train station. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer."

"I loved everything about this hotel."

10 2nd Avenue Houghton Estate by Dream Resorts

"In South Africa, we American tourists learned quickly that “You are welcome” is a greeting. Rather than a response to “Thank you,” “You are welcome” is an initial announcement. And we felt completely welcomed from the moment we arrived at Ten 2nd Avenue. The hotel shuttle drivers were safe drivers, friendly and ready with advice. The entire hotel staff was courteous and considerate. Often they would call us on the hotel phone, right at the moment we realized we needed something and ask us if we needed that exact thing. They prepared a lovely breakfast for us each morning and genuinely cared whether we enjoyed it. The hotel was safe, well secured, clean, cheerfully decorated, and beautifully landscaped. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. We hope to visit again! "

Fairlawns Boutique Hotel & Spa

"We really enjoyed our time at the Fairlawns Hotel. The rooms were large, guiet and elegant and the breakfast buffet was simply delicious. We were only there a couple of days before starting our safari so we really didn't venture outside the hotel, but the grounds were lovely and the staff was very nice and attentive."

Saxon Hotel, Villas & Spa

"This will be short but sweet. It was fantastic at every turn. The ubiquity of staff left no need unmet. Turning around laundry service in 4 hours was an unbelieveable luxury, especially after coming out of a safari in the bush. A really wonderful place. The drive to and from the airport was longer than I'd wish, but not every airport has a convenient, beautiful neighborhood."

The Fairway Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

"The hotel is located within a golf course, in a very nice, quiet, and safe environment. The rooms are very spacious; a standard room has two 1.8-meter double beds. The hotel has a swimming pool. The breakfast selection is limited but the food is quite good. The staff are friendly and polite. I recommend staying here."

The Leonardo

Southern Sun Rosebank, Johannesburg

"The hardware is very good. There was hail on the night of check-in and I had to change hotels in the middle of the night. It’s hard to explain."
