Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend and/or stay again. In detail: - My partner and I stayed here during summer holidays. It was a mixed business & leisure trip. I worked in the lobby/restaurant for 2 days and Wifi was great throughout the entire hotel (no glitched, no loss of connection during conference calls). - All staff was very friendly and helpful. From the people at the reception, to the cleaning personal, as soon as we had a question, they helped us. - The rooms are also very modern, clean and with quiet AC(airco). I would even suggest to the hotel that it’s not needed to renew all towels every day. I’m ok with using my towel for a few days. ;) - Breakfast is ok. It’s all there (cheeses, meats, fruit, yoghurt, cornflakes, coffee, tea, milk, juices, eggs, toast & croissants.). It is fresh and tasty, but don’t expect a lavish brunch. I read some of the previous reviews and sometimes people need to manage their own expectations. ;) As it is a new hotel, some suggestions I would like to bring to hotel management: - I was missing a tiny fridge in the room. Luckily the staff stored our food in the kitchen, but I felt a bit guilty asking for it every morning. - I would invest in an AC in the breakfast room. It’s a very nice space, filled with light, but that also means that during summer it gets quite warm. Nonetheless: definitely worth a stay when visiting Luxembourg! Extra tip! Go visit the brewery next door + tasting and ask for Eric. Eric was our tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable and like to share his stories, which for us made sure we had a great time! Also the beer is good (bonus, haha). :P

It is a good hotel: rooms are spacious and clean. Rooms have the necessary comfort if you travel on business: there is a kitchenette, which may be very helpful. The wi-fi is very good and there are enough conditions if you need to work. The staff is kind and helpful. If you drive there, then the hotel has a parking area. If you travel by public transport, then you have to walk either a few hundred metres to more than a km. depending on whether you travel by bus or by train. Also, it is not so easy to get a bus straight to the centre, although it is only 2 km far away- Currently breakfast is served at the brasserie (arbre du pain), next door. The offer is so broad there, mainly with Portuguese pastry, that there is no need to purchase the breakfast at the hotel. Opposite the hotel there is a cosy Italian restaurant - Dimmi si.

Luxembourg hotels are generally very expensive. I seldom live in Ibis because I know the rooms in Ibis are very small. The space in this Ibis room is so small that it is unimaginable. There is no more.... The location is not convenient, about 10 kilometers away from the city, you can take a bus back and forth, the bus will be more convenient, the bus out of the city has to follow the navigation, around to find the station. It is not recommended to stay anyway.

I visited solo to meet family on my first trip to Luxembourg. Everything was immaculate upon arrival until departure including super friendly reception, my friend Sebastian the bartender, and the excellent breakfast out on the patio. It’s a quiet neighborhood with a lovely park in the backyard and tons of great restaurants all around. East ride up the #6 bus from airport (about 30-40 minutes - free:-) Rooms are not extravagant but perfectly comfortable and with a great mini bar and quiet park facing windows. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Odd, odd place. Can't tell the hotel from the road as its hidden behind a restaurant, which is where you have breakfast, which has no kerb appeal at all, infant could do with a jet wash. Once through the barrier down a cobbled lane you eventually find the reception. Check-in was smooth and reception clean. Room spacious, clean and comes with kettle, fridge, safe and complimentary water. Nicely decorated too. Bed was huge but sadly not a good night's sleep as the pillows are terrible, far too soft and flat, had to ask for extra and still had to fold in half to get any firmness. Staff polite but not over welcoming. Outside areas could do with a spring clean and tidy. Hotel perfectly located for the centre, 5 min walk.

The first thing that you will notice is the age of the hotel. The lift says that it’s built in 1985, and the hotel has not moved on since then. From the carpet to the chairs and the bed, it screams 1980s. Location is far from the city, but there are busses 5 mins away that will take you to the centre. Great staff as always in hiltons!

Very good hotel, the location is very close to the train station and the service is very good. But it's too expensive! The local people are too rich. Fortunately, the city is not big and one night is enough to go shopping.

The Hotel Carpini provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. This hotel has more pros than cons. Staff very professional. Excellent food for breakfast so pretty pricey at 27 Euro. The rooms look very old fashioned and could do with a bit of touch up but I think that's part of the hotel's charm. I got a single room and it cost me about 98 US Dollars on trip.com's wonderful website. An excellent value for that price even an excellent value for $150 after that find someplace a little newer. Breakfast is really excellent except the eggs were undercooked and the bacon was undercooked and when I asked them to take it back to the kitchen and cook it a little more they would only cook the bacon for me. Maybe in Luxembourg people eat their eggs sweat but no way I could stomach that it would probably make me ill so I skipped the eggs. However the cheese was top notch and the meal was worth 27 Euro if you could eat 27 euro worth of cheese. I would even go so far as to say I would stay here again. The bathroom is a little outdated but charming and had birds and flowers on the tiles. The hotel front desk man acted as a concierge but clearly he had been there for a long time and was very well trained and had very good advice about where to eat and what to see. I like the whole staff and an added asset was the bar downstairs brings you back to many years ago. I was lucky enough to get a balcony in my room and it would be a wonderful idea if I had trouble with somebody to have wine on the balcony and watch the world go by. I will post my view from my balcony. I call this hotel room with a view. The hotel had more more pros than cons and I was happy with my decisions to stay there.

This hotel is very expensive, half price, but the location is super good. Remind everyone of two things, First, you can drive to the hotel entrance, but the navigation will be problematic. It should extend west of the highway ring outside the old city, from north to south (ie, Boulevard Royal to the south), turn left into Rue Nutre-Dame, 50 meters. Turn left into Rue Philippe II, cross two small streets, pass the Hermes Hermes store, turn right. Second, the hotel is mainly for luxury stores and downtown attractions, but all the businesses in the city (90%) are closed on Sundays, so try not to live in this hotel on Sunday, it is very boring.
