Hotel Livemax Kakegawa-Ekimae

Stayed in August 2019. Business hotel located 5 minutes walk from the north exit of JR kakegawa station where the Shinkansen stops. The appearance and the room are clean and clean. Free wifi is complete and the communication speed is no problem. The toilet is complete with a washlet. There is a microwave oven and pot in the room. There is no safe. Check-in is 15:00~23:00. Check-out is 10:00. There are many restaurants around. Since the convenience store is the nearest to Lawson kakegawa station in front of kakegawa station north exit of kakegawa station, it is better to use it before going to the hotel from the station to the hotel. There is no private parking lot, so you need to use the nearby coin parking. It is very beautiful to see Kakegawa Castle, which is lit up from the front of the hotel. As a business hotel, it is a hotel without any special problems☆
Kakegawa Grand Hotel

I spent five nights in the Kakegawa Grand Hotel in September 2019. The hotel is not too expensive but very close to the downtown and the train station. I saw the hotel as we pulled into the train station and I walked to dinner each night to a different restaurant. The Kakegawa Castle was a short walk to the end of the street. The hotel was clean and the staff spoke English with varying degrees of proficiency. Breakfast was good with plenty of western foods in addition to the Japanese items. Eggs cooked to order and a pot of brewed coffee were nice features. A very pleasant stay and I hope to return someday.
Kakegawa Station Hotel

〇 1 minute from the Shinkansen exit (image). Very close to the station. 〇 There was a curry and raw beer service at dinner. It was delicious. 〇 I was seriously working on the SDGs. 〇 Despite the cheap, breakfast included. 〇 comics were placed and read freely. 〇 The room is generally clean.

Evaluation is normal, but there are many good locations and good locations in the corresponding cospa. The negative point is the smell of cigarettes as soon as I entered the room (clear with deodorant attached to the room) There are 々 such as the air conditioner washing toilet seats with old types, and the temperature adjustment can only be roughly done, and the surface of the desk chair is peeled off & small, but it is not a big problem because it is personally used to it in a few hours, The staff who responded with a smile and polite and very delicious free breakfast (although the number of items is a little small) convenient location for sightseeing and eating and drinking + cost is sufficiently deducted, so I feel good as a result I stayed.
Hotel Dormy Inn Express Kakegawa

I stayed at the Dormy Inn for 3 nights during the rugby World Cup. First let me state that there is very little to do in Kakegawa apart from visiting the castle, so if you are heading here as a tourist there are probably better places to stay. Back to the hotel ! I arrived a little early (around 12) and my room was not available , so I had to leave my bags in reception and wait until around 3pm to get my key. There was no issue with the language barrier. The hotel is not far from the station with a 10 minute walk along the main road getting you there. The room itself was average size for Japan, but the outlook from the window was pretty bleak onto a back alley. However, it was clean and comfortable there were no issues with the exception of the pillows which were rock hard. All amenities were available in the room although the sink being in the bedroom rather than the shower area was a little strange. The Wi-fi was perfect, but dont look for any English language station on the TV as there was none. In terms of restaurant, there is one for breakfast with a reasonable selection of both Western and Japanese food. I never saw it open during the day or evening. However, as a bonus it does open up around 9.30 in the evening with free ramen noodles for the hungry. Coffee is always available on demand in the foyer which is another good point. On top of the hotel is a typical Japanese thermal bath...great for the aches after a busy day ! All in all a good hotel for the price.....

Within 5 minutes walk from the station, the cospa is good, the room is clean and the size is reasonable, so I think it is very good. I would like to use it if I have another chance!
